NRS HydroSkin Pants

My brothers and I recently spent a week kayaking in Petersberg, Alaska - with the water around 50 degrees and wind coming off the Baird Glacier, we were very happy to have the Hydroskin pants - great protection from the elements!

Great product- fits well and is very comfortable. The 0.5mm neoprene is just right for the spring and fall around here when the water is still cold but a wetsuit would be overkill.

Hydroskin pants were my Valentine's present to my boyfriend. He often paddles his surfski in the evenings in our harbor and it's pretty cold. He's really happy with the Hydroskin pants - they keep him warm but are not bulky or stiff. Now, I need to get a pair for me!

I went on an unplanned swim yesterday (Jan 7) in very cold river in Indiana (at warmest 40 degrees)and was able to chase my paddle down river, get out and change my top layer and keep paddling for 3 more hours as if nothing happened.

I love these, they are so comfortable, and perform so well! Not cumbersome at all, total freedom of movement with excellent coverage of your lower back due to the high section of waistband at the rear! Awesome, warm, great value!

I used to wear a 3 mm wetsuit with dry tops or a splash top.I kneel in canoes or sit in kayaks.From now on,I'll wear hydro pants as a layer with a dry pant. It is very comfortable and agile, no cumbersome clothing and loss of circulation due to thick neoprene. As a layer it is very warm, by itself, it will do in cool weather.Really good stuff! I paddle the river all year and hydro pants did the job as a layer or by itself.

These pants are awesome. I got them for surfing in warm water. I have a "soft top" foam board. The foam tears up the skin on my legs, and these pants offer great protection from chaffing. Also good warmth.
Double check the sizes. I am 38 waist, and the X-Large is just a little too large. Probably could have used a large. Also, the legs are pretty long.

i wanted a long pant that would give me maximum comfort and and a level of safety in the event of a swim and that is what I got. I like the simplicity. no zippers, no velcro, nothing to break. I'm 5'9" and 169 pounds and I fall right between the large and medium though. I wish the large size was cut a little bit smaller. other than that they are fine.

Great pants. The only problem is that the size does not correspond to the reality, "large" is actually median or small.
