NRS HydroSkin Short

Great for SUP

Using this for SUP when weather is moderate but the water has started to cool. Great as a base layer under heavier neoprene as well (for cold water kayaking). Love the Hydroskin: warm and yet very giving as you move.

I work for the state of Texas and have to collect beachwater samples throughout the year, I had to go in the water at 14C and below, and these shorts keep my lower body very warm. In addition, wearing them kayaking, keeps me dry. Although they are tight (my opinion run a little small), this is overall a great product that keeps you dry in the water!

Very Comfortable Paddling Shorts

I paddle my oc-1 3 to 4 times a week in the Kahului harbor. This morning (6 am) was a little chili and as I entered the water for the first time with my HydroSkin shorts to my surprise it kept me dry making my 1 hour paddle/surfing session very comfortable. The titanium adhesive kept my temperature just right. As the sun reflected off the HydroSkin I noticed that the DWR coating allowed the water to bead off. Mahalo to Tri-Paddle Maui for stocking this wonderful product. As advertised, it's AWESOME!

Great Shorts

I spend a lot of my summer on the river and I was looking for a product that would provide me comfort yet do its job. These hydroskin shorts do just this. I love the high back that is provided. These shorts fit a little big around my legs but I have small chicken legs so I think that the sizes are correct. I am floating the Grand Canyon in a month and wanted something that wouldn't be to hot so the shorts are perfect. I would recommend these shorts to anyone who spends a lot of time on the water.

These shorts are a great alternative to the full length Hydroskins for warmer weather or people who tend to overheat. I recently wore these during a 3 hour rescue class on Lake Michigan where I was in the water numerous times (approx. 60 deg. F) and other than the initial shock never felt cold.

These Hydro Skins are great! I am in the lakes 4 hours on the weekends teaching folks the basics of kayaking and these shorts work great! I often do not want to have to put on a full farmer Jane as it can become hot and just burdensome to put on and to wear just board shorts is just a little to chilly. The Hydroskins were an amazing solution! Easy to put on and keeps me comfortable in the cold lakes of the Northwest!

Great product, these Hydro Skin shorts fit very comfortable, non-constricting and very warm in cooler weather. Nice alternative to heavy weight shorts.
