big bang for the buck
November 07, 2009
Just got into the sport of kayaking and figured I should get one of these good thing I did have already had to use it. Throws really nice and is compact enough to keep in your kayak.

Good Rescue Bag

To be fair, I just received this product and I haven't used it on the water, so I really don't know how durable it is. But I have practice-tossed it several times and I like the way it feels. I was wondering if 70' was going to be enough rope, but I've found out I can only toss it about 50', so no sweat there. I hope I never have to use it, but good peace of mind knowing it's there, just in case.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, hi-visibilityAlready own the NRS Kayak Rescue Bag (70ft)? Tell us your thoughts.
Great Throw Bag

Fits perfect behind small and playboat kayaks. Long ropes are better!
Excellent Bargain

This throwbag is as advertised and at a great price. Note that the bag is a little larger than some, but it has to be to hold 70 ft. of larger diameter rope. I like the larger diameter, as it's easier to hold onto.

Very good

This is my first throw bag but it came highly recommended by fellow paddlers. So far I have no complaints - it is long, strong enough for rescuing gear, and fits well in my boat. Plus great value!
