Awesome
June 01, 2012

I am 5'8" and weigh 145 lbs - suit fits perfectly (M) and legs are long enough - hit just above knee. Will get much use this summer for both kyacking, paddle boarding and the dunk tank at my kids school carnival ;) I recommend this highly for anyone wanting to cover up while out in the ocean/sound. Suit also was a terrific price!

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, great fit

Little Jane wetsuit slightly shortwaisted
December 18, 2004

For me the XL little Jane wetsuit is great except that it is a little shortwaisted. I have a normal size body. It pulls down on my shoulders more than I would like. The sizing needs to be more specific in height/torso length.

A great wetsuit - even for swimming.

Based on another comment I ordered a large since I'm long-waisted. It was too big on the top and had a big gap below the shoulder. It's better to have slim-fitting wetsuit to avoid chaffing so go with a size you would normally wear.

Ideal for my new inflatable kayak

The Little Jane Wetsuit kept me warm on several early season kayak trips which were chilly and windy. It is very comfortable. The front zipper is a must for easy on and off and nature breaks.

Great fit

I just bought this for my trip to Hawaii since I love to go snorkel quite a bit and sometime the tide is low and I would get scrape by the reefs and rocks. This wetsuit fits perfectly. I am 5'5/125lbs and I purchase size small which fits nicely. Front zipper is definitely make it easy to get out! Great quality!

Great for Canadians Too!
May 31, 2011

I am enjoying my Little Jane Wetsuit three times a week in our local pool. For the past two and a half years lower back problems have made swimming and physio necessary for me. The suit keeps my core temperature warm. The fact that it is sleeveless is wonderful, incomparable to anything available in Canada. It allows me freedom of movement to do my physio exercises in the water. The colours and style are very attractive. I especially like the blue insert, as it suits all hair colours. I do find that the suit is really tight compared to the measurements in the chart provided online. I am six feet tall and ordered XL. Next time I will get the XXL, as I really need the length. It would be wonderful if the product could be shipped to Canada. Maybe that is something to consider for the future. Thanks again for a great product!

I bought this for use on a river trip. Kept me warm when I got wet. Easy on and off. Fit nicely over my bathing suit. Durable fabric and sturdy zippers.

Good product

I bought this wetsuit for a trialthon I was competing in. It was my first time in an open water swim and I worried I was going to feel restricted in the suit. It fit well and allowed me to swim easily. It was also easy to remove for the transition.

Great little suit for kayaking; it also came in handy while doing intertidal field work for marine biology. I'm 5'6, average build and ordered the medium. It fits pretty well, although the fit certainly isn't perfect -- a little on the loose side, if anything. And if I ever get to dive anywhere other than the PNW, this will definitely be my wetsuit of choice.

Great gear

Bought for use in a swimming pool. Had to exercise for health reasons. I have and will continue to swim all winter now because of this suit!

I bought the suit for an open water swim. It fit very well without suffocating me. the front zipper makes it easy to put on and take off.

Little Jane Wetsuit
February 17, 2010

I swim indoors in 78 degree water for two hours three days a week. Wearing a shorty wetsuit allows me to feel better with more energy after my swim. When I do not ware the wetsuit I get so cold I am incapacitated for several hours after my swim. I love feeling energetic after my swim rather than cold and sleepy when I do ware the wetsuit. I love the fit of my Little Jane Wetsuit and the way it makes me feel.

True to fit!

We just moved into a home in the Los Angeles area with a pool and wanted to find a way to use it year round. I (without my wife knowledge) purchased the suit following the size suggestions and it if fit perfectly-she loved it!

Good for warm weather/cool water kayaking
February 28, 2012

I bought the Ultra Farmer jane in Large for my wife (even though she is a little under the height range and 1 inch larger than the bust, waist, and hip size) which she loves and uses in cool weather with cold water. However, we wanted something for warmer weather when the water is still pretty cold (just in case she goes for a swim). Even though the shortie says it is the same thickness as the Farmer Jane, it does seem a bit thinner but also much more flexible (FYI, no armoured seat or knees). It is definitely tighter in the middle section but with enough extra flexibility to be OK (next size up would be too long in the arms and legs so she is living the "slightly tighter" than she would like). Interestingly enough I had the same issue when buying a Grizzly Little John after owning the Grizzly Farmer John. I have found that the middle section was tighter on the Little John than the Farmer John. However, the Little John has given a little over time to be more comfortable so we are hoping this will do the same.

Pros: Build quality, Cons: a little tighter in the mid-section
