Versatile Shoe
July 05, 2011
Used these shoes the past two weekends. Once at a lake in Wisconsin, the bed of which is covered in flesh-cutting mussels and the other on the Boardman river in Northern Michigan. Both times I was glad to have them on. My feet remained band-aid free after Wisconsin and the shoe stopped a rusty wire from penetrating into my foot in Michigan. Very comfortable shoe, even though my feet run a little wide. Someone has recommended I also try them with the hydrosocks for the ultimate combination.
Pros: comfortable, protective, affordable, Cons: long dry timesNice boot

These boots have kept my feet warm and dry while kayaking. They stay dry unless I step in deep water and it comes in the top of the boot. The cross strap keeps them snug. I wear a very thin sock with them.

Good shoe, will keep you warm but will not keep out water

Keeps you warm in frigid water but will not keep the water out completely. Great for paddling in snow like we do up here in the U.P.
Best river shoe ever.

This is a great shoe that stays on, protects my feet and keeps me warm. My feet don't hit the river without them.
Comfortable and stable

I am very pleased with these wetshoes. The strap across the top is a great addition, it really keeps the shoe locked in place so you can be confident in every step. The outsole gives great traction, even when it's wet. I normally have a hard time finding shoes that fit comfortably, but these fit true to size and are incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend these shoes.
