NRS Mr. Zogs Paddle Wax

I use this on my carbon Werner bent shaft touring paddles. The Werner carbon shafts are extremely smooth and a bit slippery in my experience, so I was looking for something to give the grip are a little tack. I have some old Killer Bees board wax that was not treating me well. It balled up and seemed to disappear quickly. I picked up this Dr Zogs and it's fantastic. It rubs on easily and spreads out fairly uniformly. There is a little balling at first but if you rub it smooth again with a warm hand after that it just leaves a very slightly tacky residue on the shaft that lasts for MANY hours of paddling. I have about 4 long days of use on the paddle since my last application, and I only now feel the desire to refresh the wax. The added tack lets you use a slightly looser grip which prevents blisters and hand fatigue. I would have preferred an unscented wax, but the mild strawberry is ok. One cake of this stuff will last you the rest of your paddling life.

Great wax for my surf board. Works great! Gives great grip. Can be slightly messy but not a big deal. I love this product and would highly recommend it.
