Nice paddle...

Feels better than many of the other entry level whitewater paddles on the market, and its half the price.

Durable Proformace

This product has lived up to everything that I wanted it to. The quality is above par and for the price that I received it for, I am EXCEEDINGLY happy. I would like to see a paddle the has a 30 degree feathering opposed to the 45 degree option which is the only one at this time...give us a 30 degree option, I would love you guys!
Great Paddle

This is one of the best paddles out there in it's price range. Definitely great for a low cost back up!

Nice paddle for the money. Well built and sturdy. Nice indexing sleeve on right hand shaft lets you know where blades are.

I have used my PTK paddle many times on lakes and rivers. It responded well. Just a couple weeks ago I was on a reservoir rolling and hit the bottom of the lake with the paddle and the blade of the paddle broke. Fortunately both Altrec and NRS warranted the paddle and they sent me a new one at no charge and paid for the return of the broken one. I believe that it is still a good paddle for the price.
Does the Job!

I bought it for my son's best friend to go with his first whitewater boat. It cost me half as much as a similar paddle made by a more well-known manufacturer. For the type of paddling that they do, you can't beat the price!
Excellent for the price!

Excellent paddle, very tough! A great backup that works well for the price.
Decent paddle but blades are not sturdy

This is an economical paddle, but halfway through our 1st season, both blades broke when they encountered a rocky river bottom. (Oddly enough, both breaks happened on the same trip.) However, the upside to this story is that Altrec helped us get it replaced immediately at no charge. Thanks Altrec!
Pros: Great value, Cons: Wears quickly, Poor quality
