I'm building another rack to complement the boat rack/loader
that I already have. These brackets make the job so simple. And the simplicity of their design makes them strong and lightweight. Their cost makes the project easy on the pocketbook.

Quicker-n Easier than Quick-n-Easy
I searched all over for brackets to create my on van racks and finally came across this product in some forum. I wish it had been easier to find but most people buy off the shelf and are not willing to go the extra mile to make their own and save money so very little had been said about these. I have two old town canoe trippers 36" each across and could not find any racks to haul them with on top of my ford van. We'll some 2x4's and 2 hours later and I was in business. I drove 90 miles with them the first day and they didn't budge an inch from where I had set them.
Save yourself some money and do it yourself it doesn't get any easier to build some racks when you use this setup.

Great!!!
These are super easy to use and very durable. Seem to offer a lot of support and I haven't had any rust or corrosion on mine through a full year of being on my van...

Easy and Survivable
I used the brackets to secure a custom bolted wood framed roof ladder and boat rack across most of the length of my van. I chose these brackets over competitors because of the handy quick releases and for long term UV survivibilty of the aluminum.

They work great - and inexpensive too.
I needed a solution to carry my 1946 Old Town wood and canvas canoe on the cap of my 2008 GMC Sierra. I had one quick-clamp from the 80's that I bought from LL Bean. When I called them to get a second clamp, they gave me your name as a supplier. I had the clamps in 48 hours, just in time for my trip north back to Maine. Thanks for a great product and excellent service.

The Quick & Easy mounts work awsome, one who is looking to save lots of money should not hesitate. They are just what they are called, Quick and Easy, also inexpensive. If you have any questions regarding wether to order from these guys, dont hesitate, I will pay a little more if I have to just to get the customer service that I did from altrec. Thankyou!

Simple ,Rugged, Smart
The perfect solution for the show off your crafstmanship skills. If you want simple you got it if you want custom you can build it. I tested it with 3 kayaks and some gear worked perfectly over 300 miles of interstate and 30 of back trail riding. My only sugestion would be to drill a hole through the clamp down and taller bracket to allow a padlock for extra secruity. Looks great with my '76 Wagoneer.

As advertised, GREAT product!
Worked just as advertised. Took all of 5-minutes to fit it to my Toyota Landcruiser. 2x4's completed the project in less than 30-minutes! Only negative I see it that can be very easily STOLEN. They come off as fast as they go on, but its's a pain to take them off every time you don't need them. It's great to fine a product you are completely happy with, and this is definately one of them!

Quick-n-Easy clamps
Good product for the money. Holds top load well,less secure for side thrust loads though. Stickers come off easily and the metal readily accepts spray paint if you want to match color of your truck.

They were just what I needed.
I was needing to transport a 19' Grumman canoe on the interstate on a full size van. The brackets were just what I needed. We were able to construct a full frame carrier for the canoe with side rails which allow me to load this extra long canoe on the van single handed. The brackets were large, clamped down tight and gave us the ability to use pressure treated decking boards. The canoe road effortlessly at full highway speeds. You could do all sorts of things with these brackets.

Worth putting gutters on your car to use these.
I actually had second thoughts about buying a new car without external gutters when I realized I wouldn't be able to continue using my 20 year old Quick-N-Easy set up. I once overloaded it to the point where my 2 x 3 wooden crossbars broke but the brackets were undamaged. It's worth installing fake gutters if you have to in order to use this set up. Don't forget to screw boat cleats to your crossbars.

Long Lasting, Excellent Quality
I purchased a set 20+ years ago and they are still in good shape. Three vans have worn out underneath these towers. The cross bars are heavy duty fence posts with evenly spaced holes. The heaviest load that has been carried was pressure treated lumber, all of the lumber to build a 16x20 patio deck (bullnose flooring and 2x6's). Loew's picked the load up with a fork lift and put it on the roof rack, but first I had to swear that I would not hold them responsible for any damage. The rack did not even bow, but you had to be real careful going around corners.

Awesome
When I received my brackets they were heavily constructed of aluminum. Thick aluminum that is. I was wanting a rack able to carry a lot of weight and just took a gamble at ordering just brackets. I wanted to build my own but had no clue if these brackets were the ones. They were. They can hold surprising weight and my eyes lit up the moment I unwrapped them. What a product! :-)
