Stern as bow bags
December 08, 2012
Well built. Hold their air pretty well over a long period of time. Thought the "dry bag" part was a clever idea but actually find it impractical so just using them as floatation and use other dry bags for storage. Also, I have a very long kayak with no bulkheads (Perception Rhythm Airlite from 2005). Bought the stern bags to use in the bow. These have a relatively short tube making them very hard to blow up on tucked in past the foot pegs. Thought NRS simply used short length tubes on stern bags but I am using the NRS Standard Kayak Floatation Stern bag in the stern and it has a ridiculously long tube. They either need to make it with a longer tube or move where the tube comes out of the bag more towards the wide part of the bag.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Cons: stern bag needs longer tubeDid you recently buy the NRS Split Kayak Storage Flotation? Write a review.

Easy to get in and out of your boat to dry after a day on the river. Very durable and puncture resistant. I love them mostly cause i swim a lot and they make life so much easier!
