I bought two 20mm ammo cans for use with an eco-safe toilet system. The cans were in much better condition than I expected and the rubber seals work very well as I submerged them both in a large tub full of water and there were no leaks.

I was concerned that the ammo box would be pretty ratty, but was pleasantly surprised that it was in good condition. It has new seals and will hold that smaller gear that one needs access to without having to dig through a bigger container. I am also continually amazed at the quick delivery time from Altrec. They have become one of my "go to" online retailers.

Just received my two rocket boxes. They came surprisingly fast and were in very good condition. I tried to shop them locally and the boxes were junk! After reading the reviews for ALtrec I decided to give them a try and I am very happy and will keep Altrec in my bookmarks for future gear purchases. Altrec rocks!

shipped promptly, condition was very good, only needed label gum and painted over areas cleaned, seals were perfect as well as inside. will repaint a different color so outside condition wasn't a problem (0% rust). will buy again when I need more.

These boxes are great. The condition is much better than what is shown in the photo. The seals are almost new and there is only a small bit of rust on the boxes. Also, the shipping was quick with great communication. I will be buying more soon. Thanks.

I bought this item for storing a lot of ammo I have. I was not expecting them to be in any special condition but I was surprised when I received them because they looked brand new!!!! The best part of these cans is that they have a very good rubber gasket seal that helps keep moisture away from your stored items. The order was shipped very fast. I would highly recommend buying all your ammo cans from Altrec.com!!!

We bought these boxes to bolt in the back of our pickup truck for lockable and dry storage. They work great and fit perfectly in front of the wheel wells. The quality is fantastic and the price is also great. Compared to other ammo cans we have seen in Army Navy stores, we were pleasantly surprised at the condition of these boxes. I would definitely recommend them and know they will last beyond the life of our truck!

I had found these locally, but they were in pretty bad condition. The picture shown here seemed to be in about the same condition. I figured that if I was getting them shipped, at least the lids would fit correctly. WOW - was I surprised when I opened the box. Product received is in much better shape than the ones shown. No rust, lid seals in excellent condition, very little over-paint and the decals came off with little effort. I am very pleased with my purchase. I have already recommended to others.

These boxes were in great shape with only a few labels painted over. The seal was intact and worked properly. There were no dents, dings and no rust. They work great for keeping moisture out of camping gear. They would also work great to store food because the scent could not get out and the critters could not get in.

It is hard to find these things in good shape. I ordered 4 which shipped for free from altrec (and these things are heavy). All showed up without dents and without rust. Maybe I just got a good batch but they are good.

I ordered 2 of these in order to take advantage of the free shipping offer. They arrived about 1 week after I ordered them and they are in perfect condition. The outsides have some DOT stickers that had to be spray painted over in order to make the cans legal for transport but structurally they are in like-new condition inside and out and the lid seals are in perfect condition. This is a great buy!

As Jeff said, they're in good shape but do have some spray paint and partially torn off haz labels. The gaskets were in good shape and the cans weren't dented. Couldn't give them 4 stars though, got some from a friend and those were nearly new, no paint or labels. Guess I was hoping these would be as good but they weren't.

Just received our rocket boxes and we were amazed at the excellent shape they are in. The seals are perfect and there's no rust at all on the boxes. No dings or dents and they even have that new car smell. Two words... "Buy them!"

I read the other reviews that claim these are practically new. I couldn't be happier, they were totally right. These cans were flawless, great rubber gasket, no dents, I mean perfect. You would never know these had seen any service other than the explosives labels that were spray painted over. The cans came super quick and will be absolutely perfect for a set of motorcycle panniers. I couldn't be happier, I highly recommend these to anyone who needs a heavy duty water proof case.

These were awesome. I was a little nervous with the pictures purchasing without seeing first hand but these exceeded my expectations. No rust and the original paint inside was not even scratched. The seals were a little dry but a little armor all and back to brand new. These are a steal at this price. I have looked through much worse for $30 a piece. Definitely recommend these ammo cans! I am buying more!

My 4 were decent cans and better than the picture. None dented, very little surface rust, normal paint over. Excellant interior and all sealed tight. Good value for the price. Fastservice! I Would buy here again.

If you need to store items in a dry environment, this item is very useful. I have 9 of these 20mm cans and the outside finish on all is in good condition (no rust), while the inside finish is very good. The lid seals are all excellent. Very pleased!

These boxes are in far better shape than represented in the picture. Three of my sons were home from deployment and commented that these are in much better shape than they get in Iraq or Afghanistan. I bought these for dry storage and waste transport. Great value!

Disappointed in my purchase, I ordered 3 ammo cans, I understood would be in top condition. 1 is in fair condition, one poor, but at least they will seal. Third was so dented that it does not seal. All are pretty rusted.

2 were a little more rusty than i had expected,only on outside,but as i was going to paint them anyway,no problem,they are so strong I'm going to use one as a safe
