a GREAT RIVER TUBE !
August 11, 2011

Well made and well priced. Best of all: Altrec stands behind everything they sell. I bought these to use in the Yampa river and they are great fun. Buy a pump too, a bicycle pump does not work well on these valves

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use

Float Tube with floor
July 31, 2011

I bought the tube to take to a relatives cabin on the creek. The tube was big and comfortable--the mesh floor was quite nice and the handles were soft. A cup holder would be a benefit as we carried bug spray but we just laid it down on the mesh floor. The creek was quite low the day we used it the most and we scraped along a lot--but the tube still looked brand new after a rough ride. I would have liked some instructions and more information though--the chambers to inflate it have 2 different size valves--which was nice but we received no written information about. Also, the mesh floor looks like you can unzip and remove it if you wanted--once again no info and no where in the description does it say that.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, great color
Cons: Cost, cup holder, more written instructions

Took this tube to new limits
April 02, 2010

Took this tube 10 miles down a class 3 river and had absolutely no problems. Floated over numerous sharp rocks and sticks and had no puncture. Excellent product. My tube did not have the drink holder which was advertised.

Great sturdy, comfortable tube...

Probably the most sturdy product on the market, and very comfortable. The only down side is it is a bit heavy and awkward to carry, but its perfect in the river... Also look for the ones with the cup holder!

The best.

Bought 2 tubes and spent 3 days on the Kern River (CA). By far the best tubes we saw on the river. Asked many times where we got them.

Awesome tube

Great quality for many years of floating wherever.

Best river tube out there
July 02, 2007

If your serious about floating down cool rivers on a hot day with a cold beer in your hand, (and who's not serious about that?), This is the tube for you. The construction is like no other tube around, the nylon cover eliminates rubber rash. the beer can holder keeps your beverage secure, and the d-ring is a good place to tie off the cooler float. A little pricey, you get what you pay for, a tube that will last twenty plus years!
