I bought this as an economical, fairer-weather alternative to my gortex dry top. The wrist gaskets and waterproof material provide good protection for many outings, without the tight/claustrophobic neck gasket of a full dry top. I wouldn't use this top for whitewater or open ocean paddling, but for many sea kayaking excursions, it's great. With a light fleece or wicking top underneath, it keeps me warm and dry. I like the color, too--a nice marine blue.

Great fit, great design
This NRS jacket caught my eye 'cause of the color (lavender!), but once I studied the features and reviewed the price I couldn't pass it up. It arrived very quickly and I must say it's exceeded my expectations as far as fit, comfort, and style. The adjustable neoprene cuffs are a great selling point and the drawstring at the waist can be adjusted with paddling gloves on. Looking forward to wearing it throughout this kayak season -- would definitely recommend!

NRS: Women's Endurance Paddle Jacket
This is the first time I purchased from Altrec and it was a positive experience. Easy to order and received the jacket in time to take it for a spin on the rapids. This is a very comfortable jacket.
