Nice-fitting shirt
May 13, 2011
This is a great short-sleeve shirt for whitewater paddling. I am 5'3'' and about 120 lbs with some curves. This shirt fits well (I bought a size medium). It is stretchy and not too tight. The fabric is very soft and feels comfortable. It dries quickly and washes well. It is great for warmer days.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great valueNovember 04, 2010
Great quality for the price. Heavier materail than many rash skins I have paid much more for in the past.

Comfortable
June 12, 2009
The HydroSilk rash guard is amazingly comfortable. I usually wear a small but bought a medium so that it would be long enough to cover my hip bones and the medium fit perfectly.
Perfect for days at the beach or in the pool

This is a cute rash guard that fits like it should. I was worried b/c it you look up their size chart it recommends the xs be for those under 5"3". I'm 5"6" and 110lbs and typically wear an xs. For me it hit right at the top of my hip bone so that's perfect. It's form fitting but not tight at all. A small would have been too big so I would say this is true to size. I was happy w/ my purchase.
Pros: Great design, Performance, Ease of useGreat Purchase

I bought two of these shirts for general hiking and alpine climbing. I live up in North West Montana, so the weather can vary quite a bit up here! and from what I have experienced from the use of these tops is they are a good mid-weight layer or easily worn alone when weather is warm. Great outer-wicking, so these are also great for kayaking or even body surfing. Fit is true to size, I am 5'2" 115lbs and wear the xs. The gray and red are awesome! and the material is very durable. All-around great buy.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great valuegreat quality

fast shipping...great shirt..bought it for my wife...she loves it...keeps her protected from UV..runs true to size... would recommend to any one wanting a rash guard shirt
Pros: Build quality, Great valueGreat Quality Product
March 12, 2009
This rash guard/shirt is wonderfully made. Quality is great and provides great strtech. I would say this rash guard is truer to an actual women's slim fitting t-shirt. I have purchased many rash guards from other companies- Billabong, Hurley, and Quicksilver. I have always had to buy 2 sizes bigger than I normally wear. I have purchase two differnet (large)HydroSilk rash guards and they are both too big. But I am impressed by the quality and will give them as gifts and just buy a smaller size next time. I am 5'7 and 120 lbs and the shirts come down to just below the top of my pelvic bone and the shirt sleeve comes down to just above my elbow- loose everywhere else though. One criticism is that the neck/collar is a tad bit tight.
Great for layering, OK for beach
March 07, 2012
Bought this for my wife. We love the material as it stretches where it needs to stretch and yet is thick enough to provide some warmth. As such (since it provides some degree of warmth) we have found them particularly useful as layering underneath our wetsuits {particularly shorties} though I suspect spring and fall when the temps do not require wetsuits but the air is still coolish these may be used over swimsuits. In any case, IMHO too heavy to wear in high summer (unless we are talking up north like Maine) as we are used to thinner rashguards for high heat. The fit is snug. However, as an underlayer or wherever a rashguard is used to guard against rash {like surfing and boogie boarding}, snug is good. The fit to me did not seem out-of-line with other NRS products nor with rashguards from other manufacturers {like one of my favorites: RipCurl}.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Ease of use, Great valueFits Great!!!

Could not find this in any local store. Was very pleased with the fit and look. I need sun block and this is far better than a T shirt.
Great shirt for the beach
August 06, 2011
I bought this shirt for the beach to save having to put sunscreen on my shoulders, chest and back. The fit is flattering and the shirt has a nice look. It is so much better than having that baked feeling even when you have on sunscreen. I am 5'5" , 122 lbs. and I ordered both a small and medium. I kept the medium because I liked the fit best. I wear it over my swimsuit top, so I wanted a little more room. I am very happy with this purchase!

Delighted
April 10, 2010
I am delighted with the fit and fabric. I am 5'6"-114 lbs-I bought the small which is a perfect fit. Very form fitting, but not tight or binding in any area. I bought another top which had to be returned. It has been three weeks and they quote "haven't gotten to or come across my return yet, but hopefully soon". I do lots of mail order and have never experience such a long turn around time on returns.
Great quality - good fit

This shirt was better quality than I expected. The fit was true to size and the colors sharp.
Excellent

Bought Extra-Small- fit's perfect. Generally buy extra-small for work tops. Very comfortable and drys quick.
First One
April 10, 2012
This is the first rashguard I have purchased. I bought the XL. I am a 40 D bra size. The chest fit snug. The rest fit good. It depends on how tight is comfortable for you. I probably could have gotten away with a L but am happy with a little extra room. The material is great, heavy duty and will last a long time. The colors are great to choose from. Also take into account the rest of your build.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueGreat rash guard

I bought this in a small and its extremely comfortable, fits nice with enough room to move around in ... i'm 5'2 and weigh about 115 pounds
Love it, perfect fit.

The material is comfortable and snug, yet flexible.
Great water shirt
October 08, 2012
The fabric is very comfortable and durable, and this shirt is a good fit: I am a 34C/D, and I purchased a Large. This shirt is good for kayaking or surfing.
Pros: comfort in shoulderGreat quality, just check the neckline

This product has a great quality. Although I've tried it for only couple of times, material looks very durable. Color (I got blue) is beautiful. My only complain is this fits too tight around the neck. Probably not a problem for many people though. As for the size, I got S which fits me perfectly. I am between XS-S. 4'11" 109pounds with muscular build. I will probably be able to wear XS as well, but because of my muscle arm and chest can be tight. Overall I'm satisfied with the product.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueLove the colors and it is well made

good rashguard
November 24, 2009
This is a good rashguard, but the material is lighter in weight than others that I have used. This type of shirt usually runs very small, but this particular one does not. I am slight (30-31 inch chest) and usually like the way a medium or size 8 rashguard fits. This one is actually big in a medium on me. The xs would have been a better choice. Some rashguards feel like a light wetsuit and some feel like a stretchy nylon top, this is the latter type. The colors are great, and I think a brighter color is a big advantage if you are surfing and want other people around(especially those in boats) to be able to see you. I will probably exchange for a smaller size.
Great fit & prevented arm rash from the side of the board.
July 30, 2009
The material was sturdy & as mentioned above no rash on the arm where it rubs against the board.
Great product

I bought few of this rash guard couple of years ago and been using them the past couple of summers. I love them and with different design this year, I plan to get couple more. They are a must have item for summer.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, very stylishFit is ok, performance good
June 27, 2011
I'm a pretty petite female (98 lbs, 5'1") and the x-small fits ok; however, the sleeves are a bit big and the lines going down the front gets wrinkled when I wear it. Also, the green/white in the picture looks like there's a bit of a golden-yellow color to it, but the actual shirt is more like a neo green-yellow. Performance-wise, I'm satisfied with this shirt.
Pros: Performance, Great value, Cons: Bad designDid you recently buy the NRS HydroSilk Short Sleeve Shirt? Write a review.
Love the quality!

I was surprised by how well-made this shirt is. The material is strong and the colors vibrant. I can tell I'm going to be able to use it for a long time.

This one is fantastic!!! bought 2 to wear on vacation in the DR. Never more comfortable or less burned!!! And this crispy critter got to spend hours and hours in the ocean with the kids.
Good quality rashguard
June 20, 2011
This is a good looking, more mature looking rashguard. The reason I say this, is that the graphics are a little more subtle that most rashguards, which I like. The material is thick and durable.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueGreat as a modest swim suit
August 16, 2012
I bought this to swim at our gym's pool, and I love it! I don't like feeling exposed in public, and this swim shirt/rashguard has got me swimming again. I'm 5'7", 180 lbs, 38B bra size, and typically wear a size 14 in clothing - the XL fit great. I also tried on the L, which fit, but was a little snug - guess it just depends what feels comfortable to you and if you're wearing this over or under something else. I wear my rashguard with the Patagonia Meridian board shorts (size 14) that I also got from this site over a bikini swim suit. The neck is a little tight, but bearable, especially in the larger size. Any tighter and I probably would have returned it for something else. I have great mobility in this. I can move my arms all around and there's no restriction of movement from the fabric. The shirt goes down to about my hip bone and stays in place and doesn't ride up my stomach when I swim or stretch. I do feel a bit of drag when I swim in this, but I expected that since I'm now covered in fabric - and since I'm just doing it for the exercise, I don't mind. The colors are really bright - which I'm not crazy about, but again that could be a plus for some if visibility is a safety concern. It's comfortable, keeps me warm in the water and cool out of the water. If you're drip-drying in the sun, it dries relatively quickly but not immediately - the fabric is somewhat thick, and will hold a little water for a while. If you're trying to dry off quickly with a towel after swimming to, say, get back into your car - you might consider bringing an extra towel or change of clothes - but maybe I'm just impatient :) I burn easily, so I like having the extra coverage without having to apply sunscreen to my back. It's comfortable, very smooth - the seams aren't annoying... Construction seems really solid. I've machine washed mine several times and it seems to hold up well (I always let it dry on its own though). This is the only rashguard I've tried, which I chose based on reviews, but I like it so much I haven't tried another one yet. If you're looking for a rashguard / swim shirt for whatever water activity you're into, I would definitely give this one a try.

nice colors and good fit

My daughter wears this over her suit for swim practice. She says it keeps her warmer and helps create "drag" so she swims faster when not wearing it! It fits her very well and looks cool.
