I need a jacket like this for water sports in all kinds of lakes, rivers, and beach. The XS jacket could fit a little tighter in the body, and the sleeves were a little short (for long arms). I am a petite 5'3 and 98 lbs size 0 to 2, and was glad to see it fits as good as it does. It is easy to move in and I got it with the hydroskin XS women pants that fit great. I would definitely recommend both.

After ordering and returning 3 other similar products I finally found a jacket that fits perfectly. I have not tested it in the water yet, but I have complete faith it will make me happy! Being a small female it's nearly impossible to find a watersport jacket/vest that fits properly. Yes, I would DEFINITELY recommend this to a friend!!

Awesome jacket

I bought this jacket to wear on the water in the spring when the water is still in the 50s but the air temp is 65+. Its great! You don't overheat in it but its a nice defense against the wind and the cold water. Its is super stretchy so its easy to paddle in without being restrictive. Bonus is that is it really flattering! I weigh 135 but am a DD and needed a large. I usually have to order a large for my chest but the rest of the jacket or top will be huge and unflattering; this was not the case! Would definitely recommend it!

I've been looking for a wetsuit top that zips in front. I finally found it on this site. It fits great, is durable, and lightweight. It is also very warm for spring sking.

Great for Full-figured Kayaking

Bought this for my wife to go with Hydroskin pants (for cool water and cool temps) as well as with an Ultra Farmer Jane (for cold water and cold temps). She is short (5'2") so the concern was size-wise she is a Medium but everything else an XL. Even though she is slightly out of the max's listed for Bust, Waist, and Hips (1" larger in all 3 cases) according to the sizing for a Large, she fit the Large fine in the Hydroskin Pants and Ultra Farmer Jane. However when we got the jacket, it was way tighter than the other 2 pieces. We returned the Large (awesome customer service Altrec!) and got an XL. It fit great though of course the sleeves are a tiny bit too long but she just folds it over which works well particularly over kayaking gloves (which she always uses). The exchange process was so great now any worries I might have had about buying without being able to try on has been erased.

Great wetsuit top

This is a great wetsuit top. It is a jacket only in that it zips in front. The fit is close and if you purchase your normal size it will fit over only a thin base layer. It is warm for cool to cold fall paddling (kayak or SUP) and the zipper is great to allow venting if the sun makes the air temp warmer than expected. This has been a great addition to my cold weather gear.
