a must have for travelling
May 07, 2012
One of my favorite products, I never travel without these things. So compact and easy to carry, and essential for trekking, or when hit with the inevitable travellers diarrhea. I like how they are packaged, compared to packets of electrolyte powder. I usually get the tri-berry flavor, has a light taste, not too sweet.
Basic Electrolytes
January 27, 2012
I was looking for a very basic electrolyte replacement supplement. I find Gatorade to be way to "sugary" (is that a word?) especially when swimming. These seem to fit the bill. They have an OK taste but when I am busting my butt on a bike, run or swim, I am looking for good electrolytes and a taste I can continue to drink without upsetting my stomach. These work. You want to drink something that taste really good, stop at a pub. You want salt, potassium etc., try Nuun.
Pros: Performance, Ease of useHmm, what is that taste
September 26, 2011
So by now way am I a scientist but I have tried a never of hydration products. This one I to be on par with most others, no really differences. One benefit is that if you travel quite a fit like I do, the package size is extremely convenient and can fit in a briefcase really well. The only real downside, these in no way taste good. It tastes like you are drinking poorly flavored liquid chalk ... buyer beware.
Nuun
April 02, 2011
When I first got introduced to these by my brother who at the time worked at a bicycle shop, I thought what is this? I've never heard of nuun before. When I put them in some water and watched the little tablet's fizz which is fun to watch, it tasted really refreshing and does a nice job of hydrating you. It is a nice alternative to the heavy sugary drinks like powerade or gatorade which is just sugar and very little health benefits. It took some getting used to at first since there is no sugar in these. I do like the carbonation you get with these tablets, it's as if you are drinking soda but without the bad sugar. I may never drink plain water again. I love these nuun's for going on long walks or hikes. Thank You Nuun.
Pros: Ease of use, Great valueComplete hydration

Excellent product! Provides electrolytes in a nice subtly flavored, but not sweet product. Tri berry is my favorite, but also like lemon-lime and banana (tropical actually. doesn't really taste like bananas.) I like to use it to flavor and add electrolytes to my cycling water bottle with some Hammer Gel Sustained Energy. Provides even energy with a nice mild not sticky syrupy sweet taste. Actually makes me want to drink more. I've been using it for years and will continue to do so.
Pros: Great design, Performance, Ease of useNuun Tablets - Lemon Lime good - Cucumber Bad
October 25, 2010
I love the Nuun Lemon Lime tablets but the Cucumber Mint is AWFUL! Both are an acquired taste but I doubt I'd ever be able to drink the Cucumber Mint.
Pros: Ease of usegreat product

This is a great product to stay on top of hydration. It is easy to carry around in the tubes and it is easy to mix the drink - just drop it in the water and it dissolves quickly. The taste is real subtle and not overpowering which is nice so that you don't get tired of a flavor when you are consuming large amounts of it. I find this to be far superior to the 'sports drinks' like Gatorade or Powerade which are mostly sugar and not much electrolytes. NUUN has worked well for me in the hot weather to keep me hydrated. I only wish that it had some calories so it could double as hydration and fuel.
Drink More Water!
May 26, 2010
Knowing hydration is important, I have elevated my water intake by including Nuun flavors. Great tasting . . . I have probably doubled my consumption and believe I've performed better in high output endeavors. I always go to Altrec for great selection and fast shipping. Double thumbs up.
They hydrate well with few calories -- Well worth the money

I have been using these tablets for some time now, and I find them to adequately replenish the electrolytes and fluids lost during vigorous exercise. As an added bonus, they are low in calories, so they are twice as good to me, anyway.
Works and tastes great

drop in water and wait a minute for it to dissolve. These are so much more palatable than today's sports drinks. I was not expecting them to taste good but I was pleasantly surprised. Can't wait to give them a try on the golf course when it gets hot out. I will definitely be getting more.
GREAT!

Lemon + Lime, Tri Berry, & Citrus Fruit are my faves. Orange Ginger is okay, never tried the others. Very light tasting, not bright neon and full of sugar and flavor, yet packs an electrolyte punch. I use this for any activity lasting more than 1 hour. Great for 3 hour bike rides. Love that it is portable, and can use your own water bottle. No extra plastic to recycle like Gatorade. Hooray for NUUN!
Awesome

The tablets are easy to carry while hiking to be used when you're ready for them. Tri-berry and lemon-lime are pretty good; citrus was not. Haven't tried the Kona Cola yet.
Good taste, Good hydration

I've used these for backpacking and for hydrating after cutting weight for a fight. Love them.
I love this stuff!
October 30, 2008
I've been using nuun for about 3 years now and love it. Tri-Berry is my favorite since it's the sweetest of the 5 flavors. I do a lot of hiking and biking. I like that when doing both it doesn't funk up my bottles or my bladder. I even used it on my 5 month thru-hike of the Pacific Crest Trail last year and it really helped me continually pump out 30 mile days. No cramps for me. It kept me hydrated throughout my trip. It's light, easy to use with no measuring and it's portable
A must for all outdoor adventures

I love it... All the electrolytes you need without the calories and it tastes great! These things carried me to the summit of Mt Baker. I think Orange Ginger and Lemon Lime are the best. My girlfriend likes Citrus and Tri-Berry. To each his own! I won't leave home without them for my next adventure...
