Description

The Oakley S.I. Assault Boots 6 in for men are the civilian version of combat gear Oakley developed with the U.S. military. It includes multiple innovations created specifically for the Elite Special Forces. Lightweight and athletically inspired, it offers the comfort of prime urethane shock absorption and the climate control of a moisture wicking liner. The vulcanized rubber sole includes directional lug geometry and provides wet/dry traction on both smooth and rough terrain.

excellent I love these boots. Just like the assault shoe, they are incredibly comfortable for long hours on your feet. You can run in these boots as well. Some may say they are expensive, but when you wear them every day, it's worth it. Whether working for a private security force, or climbing mountains with supermodels, these boots are perfect. I don't submit reviews often, but when I do, I like to post them after drinking a few Dos Equis. March 16, 2010

good all-around daily boot I have had this boot for about a week. for me, it is well constructed, supportive and extremely comfortable. it literally feels like my Nike running shoes. it has an aggressive tread pattern, and does great on any surface i have walked on, and i have not noticed the wet/slippery issue that others have noted. i have used this boot for casual camping, around town, outdoorsy stuff, and everything but hiking, and it has performed well, especially at keeping my feet very warm in the snow on ski trips. i normally wear a Nike size 8, and an 8 in this boot is perfect.
