Few things pair perfectly with muscle cars, flared denim jeans and trendy avocado-tinted appliances like Oakley's Polarized Gascan sunglasses. Perfectly squared around the lens corners and matched with retro Oakley metal icon accents, the Polarized Gascan features an incredibly lightweight O Matter frame that minimizes the hefty weight along the wide temples. Unlike the big frame eyewear of yesteryear, these Polarized Gascan sunglasses have Oakley's Polaric ellipsoid lenses, so the shape of the lens runs parallel to the shape of your eye and your peripheral vision remains as clear as your 20/20 hindsight. While most sunglasses manufacturers rely on sandwiching a layer of polarized film between two lenses and calling it good, Oakley designs their polarized Gascan lenses with a special liquid fusion technology that introduces the polarized filter while the lens material is still in a hot liquid state, bonding the film at a molecular level that doesn't leave you peering through the glue residue that other polarized lens manufacturers leave behind. It's one of the reasons that Oakley eyewear recently dominated Private Pilot Magazine's Sunglass Optics Shootout 2 in an extensive variety of performance categories.
I own the matte black with polarized black irridium lenses
Plain and simply put I love them....At a buck eighty I fear for their life.....I'm pretty hard on things but so far so good....They're comfortable and lens clarity level is exceptional.....
Great style, but ugly color
Love the style on these sunglasses, but the brown tortoise color makes them look more like women's sunglasses than men's. I recommend going with one of the colors in the non-polarized variety of these instead.
