Bigger than Oakley's cool Gascan sunglasses, these Polarized Oil Drum Sunglasses have larger lenses for more vertical coverage and a bigger peripheral perspective. The Oakley Oil Drum offers the same Plutonite lenses with the High Definition Optics (HDO) found in Oakley's successful Gascan sunglasses, but the full 8.75-base polarized lens curvature is a wider view in all directions. Oakley used their O Matter material around the polarized lenses and down the ear stems so the Oil Drums feel good throughout the day. Along the corners you'll find precision hinges with a dual-cam design that's distinctively different from conventional eyewear hinges. Like the Gascan, the Oil Drum fits best on medium to large faces.

• New Polarized amber black iridium lenses have a 18% VLT (Visual Light Transmission) and are excellent for medium to bright light--Oakley does not recommend this tint for driving applications because it blocks some of the light essential for identifying traffic signal lights
