These sunglasses are awesome. I'm pretty frugal so it was painful to lay down this kind of scratch, but it was well worth it. Amazing lenses and great fit.

Light and Durable

Bought these frames for cycling. They are very light, don't feel them when I wear them, easy to change the lens (I have an extra pair of vented lens which are great for humid days). Dropped them a few times and they are perfectly fine. Would recommend them!

Fits great

I bought these for my wedding (got the white frame with blue iridium lens). They fit great and for me fit better than the larger Jawbones. The blue iridium lens look blue from the front but when looking thru the lens it is tinted grey. I will use these for cycling too and will work great. I used a 20% off coupon from Altrec and got a killer deal on them as well.. Recommend!!
Pros: Great design, Great valueDid you recently buy the Oakley Split Jacket Sunglasses? Write a review.
You won't be disappointed

I recently purchased these glasses specifically for running and cycling and couldn't be happier. They fit snuggly for cycling and I don't get any frame bouncing when I run. The size of the frame is also a bonus. I personally think the Jawbones are HUGE and these are much more minimalistic and have basically the same design. Swapping out lenses is super easy and requires no tools. If you are doing long distance rides or runs and it's hot out, I would recommend buying some vented lenses. These will build up moisture under hot conditions. I have the black iridium lenses and the low light brown. The low light brown does work really well at dusk but I still want to pick up a yellow pair.
Pros: Great design, lenses swap out quickly, smaller than the jawbonesVersatile new Oakley Model; impressive!!!

The Split Jacket by Oakley is a nice spin on what has become the standard I rank all brands of sunglasses against. The Split Jacket allow for easy "swapping in and out" of a different set of lenses based on your need or activity (comes with a spare set standard). The fit of the frame is snug and slip resistant and swapping out lenses is easy. For example, I have prescription lenses that I can put in if I am not wearing my contact lenses or put the polarized ones that came with them if needed, especially when I am fishing. I like the added "hydrophobic" applicator, which allows water to bead off the lens quickly. This is surprisingly convenient especially for use in a boat, should it start to rain while I'm running, etc. Although pricey, I've always believed you get what you pay for with Oakley Optics. This is no exception.
Pros: snug but comfortable frame fit, switchable lenses!!!, hydrophobic applicator to bead water off lenses, rx available, durable case, Cons: a bit priceyOakley Split Jacket Sunglasses Photo
