Slipping a pair of Oakley's Wisdom Goggles on your face for the first time is a lot like slipping behind the wheel of a new luxury sports car or sport SUV--the universal descriptors revolve around eloquent terms like "wow" and "nice." The Oakley Wisdom Goggle might define the pinnacle of ski and snowboard fashion prestige, but the exceptional optical performance seals the deal for most discriminating and skeptical buyers. The second-nature fit is the result of a soft ergonomic frame and three-layer foam featuring progressively thicker densities for a plush and weather tight seal. The Oakley Wisdom Goggle has a curved lens that extends downward further than many goggle designs so you see more without moving your head. When aesthetics matter most, some buyers choose the sculpted and perforated lower vent construction found on Oakley's Wisdom Goggle over the foam insert vents on the Oakley A Frame, but what you may not know is that the vent holes on the Oakley Wisdom Goggles were specifically positioned to direct the airflow away from your eyes, which matters at altitudes where freezing temperatures and dry air can whither soft contacts into crystal raisins. The strap has a clean hinged attachment that won't interfere with most helmet designs, although Oakley does sell an articulated snap-on accessory strap for the Wisdom Goggle. One thing to keep in mind--Oakley designed their Wisdom Snow Goggles for medium to large faces. If you wear a small size helmet, you might be better served with the sizing of the Oakley A Frame Goggle.

I purchased the Oakley Wisdom goggle after finding the special on the 2008 model. They are a truly fantastic goggle. Soft fleece lined foam makes a comfortable seal to the face, and the adjustable strap with 3 stripes of a "rubbery" material keeps the strap in place on the days when the helmet comes out. They appear to have great viewing angles. The lens has a solid feeling and appears to move more than enough air to prevent fogging. I also like the fact that Oakley sells replacement lenses as I have concluded that clear lenses usually work best for me but only last a year or 2 of tree skiing. Hopefully the frame will hold up through several lens replacements. I would recommend these to a friend.

I use these goggles for skiing and four wheeling to keep dust out of my eyes. This is the cheapest of three pairs of oakley goggles that I own and every bit as good as the rest. For the price they cant be beat.

I have had a pair of older Oakley A-Frames, purchased around 2002, and the lenses on these new goggles are leaps and bounds better, not to mention slightly more sound construction. If you are looking for excellent vision in all but the most sunny ski environments, you can't go wrong with any Oakley goggle with a persimmon lens.

Skied 5 straight days in Colorado last week and they were great. I had a couple of very bright and sunny days and the Iridium Fire lens was great no squinting also no fogging when others around me were having problems I was fine. I recently had laser eye surgery so the special directional venting system was great it did not dry my eyes out. That was the main reason I bought them, I suspect they would be great with contacts also.

I just got them in the mail and i am super stoked to try them out on the slopes tomorrow. They fit great and have amazing visibility. Tons of peripheral vision as well as large field of vision vertically. On top of great fit they look sick too. Thank you oakley.

Try them on first cause they are not as large as stated! If you have a large face it could be a problem.
The spherical lens has large viewing area and optics are top notch Oakley as you would expect.
High intensity Yellow lens provides exceptional definition in completely flat light, night riding and stormy conditions.

These are a must for snowy days. The hi-vis is great and the double lens system prevented any fog. The design worked very well with my helmet.

These goggles are great. They are the equivalent to double pained windows for your face. No distortion. Well worth the money. Changing out the lenses takes some practice but hey when all else fails read the instructions. They fit over my XL G-10 helmet with no problems. They could be a bit wider for my big head but that would make them absolutely perfect

I have a "medium" sized head and these goggles feel to small.
They have a lot of foam padding around the eyes and nose. They pinched my nose and the skin around my eyes. The sizing isn't as good as my Smith goggles that cost half as much as these.

Sometimes the hype lives up to the reality . . . these goggles really are worth the $$. The Blue Iridium lens was perfect this past season for the bright spring skiing we get in California. Few goggles are perfect, but these have lots of good padding around the nose. Highly recommended; check out oakley's website to get a feel for what lens you might want.

These are the best goggles I've ever used. Absolutely no fog all day even after getting snow in them from putting them up on my helmet. There is so much airflow into the goggle that you can feel it on your eyes, especially if you wear contacts like i do. My only complaint is that I'd like to be able to put them farther down my face, but they pinch my nose slightly when I do that - not painful but it restricts breathing slightly. I have a big ol' Italian-Jewish nose so I don't think this would affect most people. The wide field of vision is amazing and the quality is top notch.

I replaced old, cheaper Smith googles. Look, fit on face, fit with new RED helmet are great. Even on sale they pushed my sensibility of what a goggle should be worth, but I may be changing my mind. At Jay Peak in hail and blizzard snow and cold, they are superior to the old ones in every respect.

This Goggle is really good. I can see the difference in clarity compared to cheap goggles elsewhere. Very contrast, wide angle so it does not block viewing from side angle when snowboarding.
The goggle comes with a strap which is compatible with my small giro g9 helmet. Some reviews said that the strap is not helmet compatible, but contrary to them. I found my goggle strap fits nicely on my helmet. So I did not have to buy the extra helmet kit from oakley.
Altrec service is great. I just hope some of the oversize things I returned will be refunded.

this goggle is so GREAT!!! It expecially works great with scott hemets. Great buy the price might be a little steep but its worth it very good for snowboarding. They give you great vision you can look side to side without moving your head. ***** Five out of Five STARS!!!!!!!!!

While these goggels are pricey, I think they were worth it. I've owned for several seasons now and they fit great over my helmet (after purchasing helmet strap separately). I little bit of challenge to get the different lenses in and out but I found that the most useful lens I've purchased for them is the Blue Iridium ... good contrast in most light conditions.

I didn't use these goggles extensively, although in the short time I did use them they seemed to work well. My problem is that, even though I have a larger head, these goggles were just too big. They pinched my nose slightly and the sizing didn't seem as good as my cheapo Scott goggles. However, the foam padding is excellent and the attention to detail with the anti-fog coating is excellent

I Just got back from Jackson Hole and had a chance to wear my Wisdoms. If you wear a helmet make sure you get the helmet strap fortunately I did. I also own a pair of crowbars, both are great goggles, but I like the feel, fit and the fact I don't need a helmet strap for the crowbars. Overall they are a very good pair of goggles. I would recommend trying them on and comparing them against the crowbars. You can't go wrong with whichever one fits best.

I had a chance to use these goggles today and they performed well. All goggles I have used before fogged, but these did not. They did pinch my nose a little though.

I like the futuristic look of these goggles. They're not as tall as others, though, which made them feel slightly cramped around my eyes and periphery as I have a large adult male head.
Also, it would be nice if the lenses swapped out easily, so that you could optimize them for low or bright light. For that matter, ALL goggles should be that way.
Other than that, I'd say if you find these appealing, go for it!
