I bought this jacket for skiing in spring because it is more like a liner jacket. It ran a bit large in the arms but it still works because the sleeves have velcro cuffs so you can tighten around your wrists. The design of the jacket is nice and comfortable. It looks good on and it is not too expensive.

Nice, but snug in the hips
April 25, 2012

Excellent quality jacket, lightweight and durable, but too tight for me in the hips. Normally wear a size ll in jeans, but this jacket is a little too tight around the bottom hem for me.

Pros: Great design, Performance, Great value

Very Nice

I really really like the product. Very stylish. I'm not sure about the size - so i have to figure out if i'm going to keep it or not, but the product itself - material, design, style - cant ask for anything better. Good for winter sports and everyday wear.

This jacket is a durable winter coat. I wanted to use it for snowboarding but once I received the jacket it was not insulated like the pictured showed. However, I was able to put a hoodie or fleece under with no problem. I do love the length and colors of the turqouise orbit jacket.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, vibrant colors, Cons: larger than expected, not insulated

Great jacket!
January 18, 2011

I recieved this jacket and it seemed very well made. I bought it to go with my Oakley Eaves pants. I did end up returning this jacket, but ONLY b/c I found another snowboarding suit that I liked more. This is a GREAT jacket for the price, hands down!

She loves it!
January 08, 2011

Purchased this for my daughter for Christmas. She had previously tried on a different color in a local store so she knew the jacket was roomy. The only downfall is that the arms are very long, but it has velcro around the wrist for a snug fit. Great quality. She loves the jacket. Another great purchase from Altrec

nice jacket, strong colors
April 20, 2011

The jacket feels nice - it is lined with fleece and feels warm. The colors are extremely bright - pretty, but very bright. Only downside is there are only button attachments for snow pants - no loops to attach to pants. Overall, jacket seems to be good quality - nice seams, durable shell. I would recommend, but maybe in the darker colors unless you really want to be seen!

Pros: Build quality

Awesome Jacket
January 21, 2012

This jacket is great for those "in-between" days on the mountain, not to bulky or hot and very wind resistant. It is stylish and has lots of handy pockets and features. It is now my go-to outter layer for skiing.

Pros: Great design, Build quality

Style points
June 06, 2011

I purchased this jacket primarily based on the color/style for the spring skiing season - was pleasantly surprised. Quality is great, and it seems waterproof so far. The sleeves are a bit long, but I really like that about this jacket (and all clothing actually). The longer sleeves went over the cuffs of my gloves keeping the cold out. I'm 5'-4", 130 lbs, athletic built and I found the small was perfect. A little big without layers, but perfect w/ a sweatshirt and base layer.
