These boardshorts are easily the most comfortable, high quality, versatile boardshorts I've ever owned. They really do have a freakish amount of flex/stretch in all the right places. I will wear them for just about any physical activity that would require shorts that don't hinder your movement. I do recommend you get them one size smaller than your normal waist size, because they'll fit more naturally without having to tie the strings very tight, preventing them from sliding down. They dry out very quickly, which is an awesome feature. They also clean up extremely easily. I recently wore a pair of mine in a Warrior Dash and they were completely covered in mud when I was done. After being washed up they look brand new again. In closing, if you're considering a pair of these, you might as well go ahead and buy a couple pairs. You're going to want more than one after you wear them the first time!

These shorts are awesome. The stretch is unreal. Make sure your waist measurements are correct because I thought I was my normal size, but I was a size smaller. Product shipped and was at my house in 2 days. Overall great experience.

You made my Son-in-law the happiest surfer on the beach and this mother-in-law number 1 in his eyes. The material in the board shorts is of excellent quality and the design couldn't be better. Good color and heavy duty quality.

Interesting shorts - delivery was prompt . The solid Black ones are built a little different from the Grey pin strip ones - which was interesting because they are the same name "Superfreak" and same size . I ordered a couple solid black ones for surfing - They work OK so far . The underside of my thighs did rash out - but too soon to tell if it is a true shorts issue .... They were static clinging to my legs in the house in Winter- but do not get the static cling in the tropics. In bigger surf they seem to pull down a little showing some crack - but not too bad - only had them a week to test so far.

How to measure:
CHEST: With your arms relaxed at your sides, have someone measure under your arms and over the fullest part of your chest.
WAIST: Bend to one side. The crease that appears is your natural waist. Without pulling tape too tight, measure around waistline.
HIP: With your feet together, measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your legs.
INSEAM: Take a pair of pants that fit you well and lay them flat. Measure from the inside crotch seam to the bottom hem.
RISE: Measure from the crotch to the top of the waistband.
ACCESSORIES - HATS / BELTS: For belts, measure over waistband of pants. For hats, measure your head at the point where your hat would fit comfortably.

Halter Top: Features a thicker strap that ties behind the neck for more support than a triangle top. Also, a halter generally offers more coverage than a triangle top.
Triangle Top: Features a triangular shape with less coverage than that of a halter.
Tankini: Great alternative to a triangle or halter for someone who wants complete coverage.
Bandeau (Top): Bandeaus have a tube design that is usually fastened at the back. Some designs have straps that tie around the neck, while others are left strapless.
Butterfly Top: The butterfly top is a favorite because of it's flattering appearance on large and small busts alike.
