When I first ordered these, I was a little worried they'd be too tapered (since they were labeled "ski pants"). I'm a snowboarder and feel more comfortable in more relaxed fit pants. I decided to gamble on them being bigger than they looked in the picture and that was exactly the case. These are very roomy and really just the perfect cut for a relaxed, rider fit. I'm 5'10", 160 LBS, 33 inch waste and the M was plenty big enough. Hope that helps everyone gauge the size on these. One thing to keep in mind they're not lined, so be sure to grab some thermal riding pants for cold days.
