Great for a daypack or quick overnighter
I bought this pack to use for the occasional one nighter or all day hike. This pack works flawlessly however it was just too small for what I was anticipating. I wanted to take this out on a 3 or 4 nighter but seeing how small it was my worries got the best of me so I returned it for the 58 liter. I will definitely be buying osprey from here on out.

great day pack
only use this pack as a daypack but more than enough room for a overnight. probably somewhat overkill as a daypack but works great for me. fantastic design, extremely comfortable. recently used during some mountain climbing and performed flawlessly. never owned an osprey pack before but very impressed. recently just purchased a NF El Lobo 65 or otherwise would pick up a larger osprey as my main backpack. even has easy storage for the treking poles. highly recommend.

Nice~!
I got the Kestrel to replace an Arcteryx Axios 35. For me, the fit of the Axios did not work - shoulder straps too close together, and no ability to adjust the width. The Kestrel does not have this problem.
Really nice built in water proof cover, and the paprika color looks true to the pics.
Good combination between load carrying capacity and light weight too. Overall very satisfied - a nice pack, and quite sturdy too.
Getting a large bladder wedged in the external bladder compartment is a bit tough.

Hip belt might be too large for petites
Looks like a great pack, and it was recommended by several people. Unfortunately, the hip belt isn't snug enough for me - even adjusted to the tightest setting. The fit of the pack against my torso was fine, however, since the harness is adjustable (I'm 5'2"). Very disappointed to have to return it.

Very good.
This is the way to go. I also have a Simmer Lite....this is much better and much less hassle.

Great pack for traveling in the country and out
These bags fit conveniently in the space provided on airplanes and hold a lot of items for longer trips.

Great Pack!!
This pack has all the bells and whistles. I kept on finding neat little add ons that make this a very good pack. I am 6'4" and the pack adjusted perfectly to fit me.

Great comfortable pack with very useful features
The adjustments on this pack make it very easy to fit your body size and make it a very secure and comfortable fit. The built-in rain cover, trekking pole harness and external water bladder sleeve are great useful feature not found on other brands of pack.

Excellent weight to storage ratio
Perfect for a light weight one-nighter or a long day hike. Fits well and is super light weight. Any pack I buy from here on out will probably be Osprey.
