Best every day carry all!

I use this backpack while traveling for work. It's a terrific design and has a ton of creature features. I certainly consider it my "carry-all", especially with the expansion zipper. Rugged zippers, comfortable padding, and an epic rainfly add to this pack's god-like features.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Great valueGreat Pack

I am a student and a bike comuter. I have been looking at many different styles of courier bags for the last few months but none fit my budget or what I really wanted; a backpack. This pack has a multitude of really cool features for easy access on the go. Shoulder straps have built-in pockets for keys and cellphone, and the independent laptop sleve has more than enough room for my 15.6" (and I even bought the S/M size pack!!). It also has many file sleves inside to avoid that all-to-familiar "distressed" look of printed materials. Another feature of the main compartment is an extra zip-out that adds about a third more total room to the whole pack. If you spend the time to look at the sizing chart and get a friend to help you do some measurements, you will find that they are spot-on. Also once you get your pack you will be able to see that it is really quite adjustable as well. One of the greatest features of this pack though is the Osprey gaurante. A full, no-fault, lifetime gaurente on every part of the bag. So basically, I love this bag!!! And I would recommend it not just to bike commuters but anyone looking to carry their laptops or anything else in style, comfort, and with ease! Thanx for the great deal Altrec!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueExcellent commuter with laptop

I searched and searched for a good back-pack to carry a laptop. Tried and saw a lot of different packs but nothing had all the features I needed.. Ended up buying this one on-line after trying other Ospreys and liking them but needing something bigger (Momentum 34) than the "smaller" commuter Ospreys I tried in stores. This is loaded with features. Nice separate pouch for the lap-top, easy to pull out when going through airport security. I couldn't stand other packs where the laptop pouch was IN the regular storage area. Also, I like the small rain fly that can be pulled out when in rough weather, as I do use this pack to commute on my bike. Only word of warning, the lap-top pouch barely fit my 15.6 computer. No way will a 17 inch fit.

Osprey Momentum 34

This is a nice piece of engineering Specifically designed for a bike commuter but could also be effectively used as a carry on luggage! Several adjustments (shoulder harness, hip belt, and others) ensure a very comfortable fit. I love the harness pockets allowing me to have my phone, ID badge and keys at an easy access. No need to remove my badge to scan it (very practical). I love the high visibility rain cover that perfectly fit the backpack. I also once forgot the rain cover and rode my bike in heavy rain and the inside was perfectly dry. I highly recommend this backpack. Both Osprey and Altrec have excellent 100% customer satisfaction eliminating any concern of returning the backup
