Lean and clean with a five-panel fitted profile, the Outdoor Research Alias Cap™ features a stretchy Schoeller® 3XDRY® fabric that resists wear and stains far better than caps made with blended cotton fibers. This is great lightweight headgear for trail runs or those times when you don't have a comb after wearing a climbing or skiing helmet all day. An external drawcord adjustment in back makes it easy to fix the fit exactly how you like it.

From the moment I first dawned this cap, It became a favorite. I've been wearing & washing my favorite hat for the last 7years(It's wearing out). I've bought many 'maybe' caps, but they all end up back shelfed. Not this one. What an awesome hat. Thanks Altrec and OR!

The Alias Cap is well constructed, and the 3XDry material quite light and comfortable. The fit is fine with the adjustable drawcord, and the sweatband comfortable. The cap has a squarish profile, similar to the Prism winter cap by OR. The Khaki colour is a light shade, which is set off well by the Olive accents and the woven OR logo. Overall, it's a good headware choice for those desiring warm-weather sun protection that breathes well and dries quickly, but is less waterproof than a Gore-Tex cap like OR's Drifter Cap.

i should know a great hat ive been bald for 27 years.this hat is very comfortabel with the draw pull in the back you make your own fit.the 3x dry fabric is great water rolls off while weat from your head passes through.wish they made more garmets with it.as always altrec got it to me fast and free.thanks jc elliott

This is a great cap for all sports. The Alias cap is very lightweight, and packable. The fabric drys very quick when wet, and the fit can be adjusted to fit anybody.
