I really like this organizer. I use the Size 2 and already can think of another use for a size 1. Its great with out having TOO many pockets and isnt overkill. Super Light. I did cut the zipper pulls off and added paracord to quiet down the jungle jungle of the zipper pulls. Id order again and already think I will get the size 1.

Great organizer, can hold a lot!
I bought these as a gift for the men in my wedding, they all loved them... I had to buy myself one as well. It's hard to find good travel kits for men.

BC Organizer 2 - great ditty bag for small gear
I previously owned the BC Organizer 3 but sold it in a grab bag on ebay because it was too fussy for my taste with the dangling inner pocket and wasted (for backpacking) sleeves for credit cards and other paper materials. I ordered the BC Organizer 2 from Altrec, received it in a day as usual, and found the BCO2 was much more too my taste for use as a ditty bag for all my miscellaneous small gear - utensils, matches, headlamp, lighter, toilet paper, toothbrush, pen & paper, insect repellent, etc etc. There are tons of pockets and a place for everything - a lot more room than the BC Organizer 3 for a comparable weight.
I was previously carring all my small gear and supplies in a cuben fiber zip pouch that weighed only 0.5 oz; the BC Organizer 2 weighs 3.9 oz and although I am a fanatic about cutting grams, I find the great organizational capability of the BCO2 to be well worth the extra weight. Plus, it fits perfectly in the top pocket of my pack. As typical for OR gear, the quality is impeccable.

Great for a pack - and a suitcase
OR calls it a "backcountry" organizer, but mine sees duty on long haul flights as the lightest & best organized travel dop kit I have yet found. The smallest size is more than adequate for a month and fits well in a carry-on. The level of detail is admirable - fully 5 zippered compartments (one is mesh & 4 1/2 of the 5 zippers are double-stitched), plus 1 large & 3 small unzippered interior fabric pockets, a tabbed elastic band to hold various bottles/containers, and a small nylon carry strap (flush on the underside). The fabric is a reinforced ballistic nylon. It will not contain an explosion of magenta hair mousse, but it strikes the correct balance between moisture resistance and breathability to prevent unseemly toothbrush mildew.
I also have the medium & large sizes which have greater capacity, more pockets/compartments and are equally well designed & made . All would work as travel organizers (no hair dryers, though - outlets not included).

I have used this and the #2 for years in many different applications. Great materials and they have really thought through the design. It works perfectly in a pack, briefcase or suitcase. Get it now.

Great Organizers
These are really useful for a myriad of applications. I used the small one for a car first aid kit, and the Large one for an in house medical kit. There is a snap out very small mesh envelope in the large one that I use for my ultra light backpacking first aid kit with just advil, small swiss army knife(scissors), moleskin, and lanolin. Just the necessities) I would recommend, however would like to be able to purchase separately

Most Practical Purchase
These bags are perfect for travel and everyday use. We have all three sizes. We use them for the pool, hiking, first aid kit etc., etc. They fit a lot of stuff and have various compartments. I use the smaller one in my purse and when I switch purses I don't have to unload and sort anything. Everything I need is contained in one small bag!

a bottomless pit
you would not believe how much stuff will fit in these bags. i bought the large one well over 5 years ago and it still looks like the day i bought it.
i use it for band-aids, q-tips, fire starters, extra stakes, medicine, small mirror, waterproof matches, small roll of duct tape, extra spork, twine/guy chord, batteries and tons of other stuff. great for all the things that don't already have a good place to be stored.
every once in a while i'll empty out all the pockets to see whats in there and i'm always amazed at how much stuff comes out.
never seen a less than stellar product from outdoor research.

Perfect
I love these organizers and use several of them for a variety of applications. They are quality made and flexible enough for just about anything. My favorite use so far is a small fishing essentials kit, which has fishing line, hooks, swivels, bobbers, sinkers and a small variety of artificial critters.

Great product
I use the number 1 size to make two survival/medical kits for my daughter and myself. They worked extremely well and everything is organized and easy to access.

Multiple uses, easy to organize
Great piece of gear, as a U. S. Marine I get issued a bit of OR gear. It is quality gear that I know I can count on when I need it. This organizer is just another great piece. Depending on what I need and where I'm going I can load it out with everything from personal hygiene, to first aid, survival, or utility equipment. Very handy for keeping everything where I need it, when I need it.

Great item great price!
I have an earlier version of this I loaned to my husband for a trip. He loved it so much I never got it back! This is my replacement. The largest size is the best with a hook to hang it up.

this is the coolest little thing
great bag ? organizer just used it this weekend and I knew were everything was did'nt to place things all around in diffrent bags. great for medications and small stuff (cell phone battery, cords ) you know. A must have! thx rayray

Great for my first aid kit
I've been using an older version of this for about 4+ years now as my first aid kit. It is amazing. I like my model a bit better because it has a fold out pouch and 2 internal compartments all of which are removable via snap buttons and is probably the older version of #3. This new is one is probably lighter though. However, either way these things are wonderful. I can't recommend them enough.

Perfect bag for a first aid kit.
Sturdy construction and lots of compartments make this an ideal bag for a first aid kit. This bag packs away easily and has more room than you would expect.

Best lightweight organizer to carry on trips.
I have the cosmetic organizer and it holds twice as much as you would expect. I use the small gray organizer in my daily purse for most of the things a women carries daily. Makes it quick to change purses and you are ready for trips, also. It has held up extremely well, as I have used it daily for over a year.

Great for wilderness backpacking
This is the second one that I have owned. My first lasted for years! I go wilderness backpacking every fall and it holds everything I need for cleansing and first aid. The hanger makes grooming easy no matter where you are! I would definately recommend this pack.

Love These Products
I have been using the older version of these organizers for years and I really like them a lot. The new ones I just purchased are even better. I would use the word WONDERFUL.
