Very lightweight, great design, and great waterproofing. But this hat is smaller than the other hats I have ordered. This is the third OR hat I have bought. This is the only one that is a tight fit. Love the OR hats that I own. Use them for work, hiking and traveling.

The hat had a good workout yesterday as we tried to free all the trees and bushes from 6 inches of a very wet snow before more branches cracked. It fended off all the snow landing on my head keeping my head...and shoulders...dry. Very comfortable.

I really like this hat, I'm a landscaper and use it all the time and it keeps the rain off my head. I would recommend this hat to anyone who is going to use it for work or play.

It is very light, has a feature to raise one side or both side of the brim with the help of magnet, not too expensive, and it is waterproof. It also has slightly shiny exterior, and I like it. I ordered black one. It turned out to be a very nice hat. Since then, I wear it every time I go outside. I even swam with it by doing breaststroke. It is waterproof, so who cares. But under the direct sunlight, the choice of black might not have been that good, but I am not sure. The fabric is very thin. I know there is a choice of Khaki. One concern is how long waterproof will last. I hope machine wash cold to do the trick--- I haven't done it yet. Anyway, I am very happy with this purchase. Outdoor research saves the day again.
