Really like this dry bag. I was actually looking to buy one that had a lateral zipper but they were very expensive. Tried this one out and was pleasantly surprised. Nice and waterproof and easy access to gear.

Bought two of these puppies for Adventure Dual Sporting. The 45 liter version is big enough for my camp pillow, two person tent, sleeping bag and thermarest. A little cramped, but not too much so. I filled a bath tun up and sank the sucker under and weighted it down with a cinder block. Let her soak for the eight hours I was in my office representing hardened criminals. When I got home I checked my little experiment and found That water infiltrated the bag. BUT, after a second then third try in which I took more care in rolling the seam up, it was bone dry after the next days soak. I have little doubt that by taking care to roll the bag properly, it'll remain waterproof for most purposes. Only things preventing me from giving it the fifth star are the lack of a dark color choice such as black (I like to camp low key without being seen) and the material is a bit light making me wonder about the durability when riding through tough, branched over trails. No matter though as it's covered by a lifetime warranty and Outdoor Research has enviable customer service. This item is not really marketed for Adventure Dual Sport Riding so I can't complain too much.

I have had a number of different styles of dry bags and this one is the best for getting to your stuff without having to empty the entire bag. I don't do whitewater but I do live in a very damp and often rainy place. I love not having to worry about how to keep my stuff dry.

OR does it again! Comes up with a clever solution in dry storage. With all the top opening bags it is impossible to get one thing out without having to pull everything else out. These make it easy to access whatever you want. They also make a great tent bag. I use the 10L and 15L versions and love them.
