Description

A day of riding lifts and hiking out-of-bounds all season long requires a pant with a broad temperature range; the Men's Outdoor Research Axcess Pant™ is constructed with 2-layer GORE-TEX® and is lightly insulated in the knees and seat to keep you warm and dry on cold, wet lifts. Double thigh vents quickly remove hot air when your skis are over your shoulder. Last, its relaxed cut, and articulated seat and knees allow complete freedom of movement whether you’re going up or down.

Too long
February 10, 2012

Just got the pants, worn them once. I have a normal build, and I got the large. I wear a 34 or 36 waist with 30 or 32 inseam usually. These things are pretty long, like 2 inches drags on the ground. I like the design though, with the gortex and dual vents, so I'm going to keep them and have my wife hem them. Good room through the hips and comfortable at the waste. Nice insulation on the inside, not too much to overheat you.

Way too long for waist size
January 31, 2011

The length of these pants is off the chart. I have a 34 in waist and I have a good 3-4in hanging past the boots. I am 5'9'' and seems like there should be a short, long, and regular inseam selection like most other outdoor clothing lines have. Other than the size, the pants seem like they would be perfect.

Pros: Build quality
Cons: Bad design, inseam lenth

Great Pant, a Little Baggy
November 29, 2010

I really liked these pants but had to return them. The quality and construction is very good and I was surprised at how well OR did just coming into the ski market. They would be perfect for someone who enjoys a baggy fit, however they are a little too baggy for me. I prefer something not tight but a little slim so extra material isn't in my way. If you like baggy fit ski pants these would be great, just not for me.

Great stuff
November 25, 2010

I ski and snowboard depending on the terrain, the conditions and whom I'm with. I highly recommend these pants. They are perfect for either sport on almost any terrain. Best snow pants I have ever owned. Warm enough but not too warm, easy cooling if needed, super comfortable, great fitting, loose but not too loose, great pockets. I'm 6'-2" tall, about 210 lbs. I have a large pair. These would probably fit anyone from around 5-11 to 6'-4". Regardless of height, don't buy them if you have a big gut. Only con-wish they came in other colors; when they do I'll stock up on several.
