Great Pant, a Little Baggy
November 29, 2010
I really liked these pants but had to return them. The quality and construction is very good and I was surprised at how well OR did just coming into the ski market. They would be perfect for someone who enjoys a baggy fit, however they are a little too baggy for me. I prefer something not tight but a little slim so extra material isn't in my way. If you like baggy fit ski pants these would be great, just not for me.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great valueWay too long for waist size

The length of these pants is off the chart. I have a 34 in waist and I have a good 3-4in hanging past the boots. I am 5'9'' and seems like there should be a short, long, and regular inseam selection like most other outdoor clothing lines have. Other than the size, the pants seem like they would be perfect.
Pros: Build quality, Cons: Bad design, inseam lenthToo long

Just got the pants, worn them once. I have a normal build, and I got the large. I wear a 34 or 36 waist with 30 or 32 inseam usually. These things are pretty long, like 2 inches drags on the ground. I like the design though, with the gortex and dual vents, so I'm going to keep them and have my wife hem them. Good room through the hips and comfortable at the waste. Nice insulation on the inside, not too much to overheat you.
Cons: inseam too longReally like these pants and Outdoor Research

I'm 5'10 180 and I bought a size large because I like my ski pants a little bit baggy. In this case though, they're a bit too long, so I had to buy suspenders for them. Luckily Outdoor Research sells them and they are very compatible with the pants. The great thing about these pants is the company that built them. After I had them out on the slopes for one day the zipper broke, I called the company and they shipped me brand new ones on the spot, without me having to ship the product back to them first. I was incredibly impressed. Top notch company. I love all the zippers in these pants, especially the thigh zippers they're in the perfect place for getting at your gear on the chairlift.

I ski and snowboard depending on the terrain, the conditions and whom I'm with. I highly recommend these pants. They are perfect for either sport on almost any terrain. Best snow pants I have ever owned. Warm enough but not too warm, easy cooling if needed, super comfortable, great fitting, loose but not too loose, great pockets. I'm 6'-2" tall, about 210 lbs. I have a large pair. These would probably fit anyone from around 5-11 to 6'-4". Regardless of height, don't buy them if you have a big gut. Only con-wish they came in other colors; when they do I'll stock up on several.
