Good Stuff

I consider myself a jacket snob. This jacket has met and exceeded my expectations. I usually am an Arc-teryx guy but this was highly reccommended by friends and family so I got it. OR has really impressed me with their attention to detail. It fits well, and the quality of material can not be beaten. I'm 6'0'' and weight 150pounds. The jacket has a comfortable fit and i bought a Medium. It's a great jacket for running in fall weather or for casual wear as well. I'm a big OR fan now.

I bought this jacket because it was recommended in one of the outdoor magazines to which I subscribe. The fit would probably be true to size if just worn over a t-shirt but with any other base layer, it is a bit snug. The sleeves are also a tad long. What I like about it is that it is impervious to water and it packs easily into a small stuff sack. I intend to use it primarily during wet weather which is rare where I usually hike but, on occasion, I have been caught in downpour.
Pros: Build quality, Ease of use, Great value, Cons: a bit snub in chest and shouldersNice light layer

Better wind protection than you think. Very warm but can be worn when temperature isn't that low. Compacts well if you need to stow it in a small space. Also great as an extra layer. Only down is orange color is much brighter than in the pix.
