Waterproof fabric prevents snow from soaking through the gloves but the breathable fabric also allows body heat and sweat escape. A durable nylon shell and wrap around leather palm prevent wear-and-tear from abrasion. Insulated on the back of hand and a heavy-weight fleece on the palm provide warmth when the weather picks up.
