For the tougher hikes
I purchased these shorts for a specific bushwack hike earleir in the year. That hike got cancelled and I didnt really wear them hiking until recently. I love my Patagonia Ultra shorts but wanted something that at least appeared tougher for the bushwhacks and scrambles. These shorts did not disappoint. They are comfortable, baggy like the product picture shows and now I know tough enough to endure some abuse. I slide over rocks, down hills and over logs. I was also grabbed by thorns and branhes. After a good washing they were as good as new. I usually like elastic waist shorts better, but since you can ask for a waste size and these have a built in belt, they were great without the elastic. I would recomend this item to anyone.

Great Trail or Running Shorts
I have two pairs of these shorts that I use for both everyday use and running. The weight is great, very fast drying, and lots of secure pockets. The low back zippered pockets are particularly nice for stowing a cell phone or other small stuff on a run.

The pants were sized well and the quality of the fabric was top notch.

Fantastic shorts.
These are great shorts. Extremely comfortable, light weight, with plenty of pockets. Highly recommended. They are fantastic in any setting or environment. The built it belt is plus.

Great shorts at fair price.
These shorts are exactly what I was looking for: They are comfortable, durable, light weight, quick drying, have four zipper pockets and two open pockets; all with a built in belt. They are perfect for carrying everything from cell phone to keys to iPod to wallet, and still have extra pockets.
