Love it
Great shell to keep you dry and warm. THey do run a little small, so at 5'11 and about 190lbs, the XL is a perfect fit. Very breathable, comfortable, running or hiking light jacket.

Great Jacket!
Light weight and durable. Works well as a wind breaker. Looks great too! Had to buy one for a friend as a Christmas gift so he would stop taking mine.

Light shell, cut small
9 oz breathable shell works well for running at 25 to 35 degrees F. I have also used it as a windshirt for hiking in warmer temps. Polyester seems more sturdy than all nylon jackets and helps make the jacket very windproof. Outdoor Research XL fits my 6' 200lbs with room for thin fleece (Arcteryx Delta).

nice lightweight jacket
This jacket fits nicely, allows for plenty of movement, and looks good too. The drawcord is a nice feature.

great light jacket
I can wear it by alone or with a fleece. I thought that it was going to be a soft-shell, but it's not. I did wash it with my other shells in with waterproof treatment and that helped the waterproof-ness.

expectations
I was expecting the Ether Jacket to be a proper softshell jacket. However it is actually little more than a really light windbreaker. This might be ideal for some situations but I already have a windbreaker. luckily, Altrec makes things easy to return.
