The OR hoody is quite nice. I've had it for about a year now and it has good quality construction throughout. It's much warmer than fleece alone and doesn't "get thin" with wear like fleece does. The fleece lining does provide excellent warmth and the wool exterior is not itchy, and the tight knit of the wool helps to keep the heat in and the elements out. The hood fits snugly and when not in use actually forms somewhat of a collar that helps keep the back of my neck warm. The garment also has a much sleeker fit than fleece or a puffy down sweater. Pockets all well positioned and numerous. Thumb holes give sleeves some extra length which I like. Aside from technical aspects it is also "stylish" enough for casual wear around town. Although the hem sits close to the body, a drawstring might be a nice addition. Overall, a very versatile piece.

This jacket is very well made and is very warm. On 30 degree mornings with a base layer under it kept me just the right temperature. I have got several positive comments about what a nice jacket.

I have had this sweat shirt/jacket for over 2 years now. It performs outstanding while skiing and winter camping in the northeast. (famous for cold temps and ice sheets to ski down) This jacket was a great mid layer on the coldest days on the lift (-15 at the summit) and breathed well enough to keep me from over heating skiing hard as the temp hovered around freezing. There is an inner buttoned pocket to keep your cell phone from freezing or falling out, and two big inner dump pockets to keep your water from freezing while camping. The thumb hooks mean a 6'2'' guy like myself will enjoy sleeves that are more than long enough. There are warm and well positioned hand warmer pockets. The hood is generous and has well placed draw cords. The brown looks great I wear it around town all the time. I would recommend this to anyone.

This is a heavyweight hoody sweatshirt that has a nice wool exterior and cozy fleece inside. Well made and good looking, this jacket is versatile. This is going to be a jacket I wear frequently this fall and winter.
