When deep dry powder blankets the mountains reach for the Outdoor Research Southbank Gloves for men. A Gore-Tex® insert under the durable nylon shell makes these snow gloves waterproof while still remaining breathable. The only sweaty palms you’ll get wearing these performance mitts will be from the massive cliff you’re setting up for. A low profile cut and fantastic finger dexterity because of reduced insulation across the palm will let you tinker with your set up without exposing your hands to the cold while FlexAction™ articulated wrists let your hands sit naturally while skiing. Lavish EnduraLoft™ insulation keeps the cold at bay and leather palms wrap around fingers and thumbs for more durable gripping coverage. With a clean no nonsense look and performance features you’ll rip powder turns in style and comfort.

Very very good gloves overall. Great design, very easy to put on or take off. Loves the nose wipe. Very comfortable and would've given it 5 stars if it provided more warmth (My finger tips were getting cold in 20F weather).

These gloves are incredibly comfortable and well-built - took them w/ me to the Alps and in addition to skiing functionality, they look great! Love the nose-wipe :)

Just as promised
January 28, 2013

I purchased these gloves based on the reviews that other people left and I was not disappointed! I bought them for my husband for our annual ski trip. They kept his hands warm the entire time - and the temperature never went over 25 degrees. He especially liked the loop for easy pull-on, the adjustable cords to tighten them around his wrist, and the wrist loops so he didn't have to worry about dropping them if he took them off. I was specifically looking for a glove with a removable liner and found the discription a little vague. I was disappointed that the liner was not removable, but this was a feature I personally enjoy. My husband didn't mind either way. The gloves had dexterity/flexibility so he could do everything with them on, so there was never a need for his hands to be out in the cold. I would definately purchase another pair and other items from this brand.

Just What I Was Looking For!
March 05, 2012

I was looking for gloves that I could wear over my wrist guards for snowboarding, but didn't want to have to buy them three sizes too big just to pull them on. These gloves are the solution. The finger loop at the bottom of the gloves works perfectly, and makes pulling these gloves on quick and easy. I am a 6 foot, slender build male, and the size large gloves fit snug over the wrist guards without leaving too much excess room other places. The quality is great, especially for the price, and I would gladly buy them again if they ever wear out. Highly recommended!

Excellent Gloves
January 31, 2012

I have used these gloves in 20 degree weather with high winds, and my hands were fine. These are incredibly warm, but still allow for a good amount of dexterity. Nice plus is the nose wipe so your nose doesn't get sore from wiping with the gloves.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great value
