This is a killing layering sweater. Light weight, not bulky and highly compressable. Best part for me is the fit. Being 6'5" typically the body of a sweater or jacket is too short. The length on this is great. No cold spots when you lean over.

This is a fantastic, lite-wt. jacket.
I would like to see the side pockets have zippers, and maybe small vents under the arms. It is so warm, it requires ventilation, for me. Great for back country skiing and backpacking. My new best friend !!!!

it's very nice jacket
It's pretty light and warm in the winter season and I wear just tee and this jacket to spend a whole winter season. Especially, the weight of this is very good.

The best sweater I no own!!!!
This will no doubt be my number one used sweater. It's got a perfect fit and feels awesome!!! I highly recommend this one. You will get your money's worth so go ahead and spend a little more and get a lot more. I only wished I had ordered more colors.

Super in both weight and volume.
The down insulator packs to less than a litre volume. Weight is the same as a super lightweight shell. As a insulator it outperforms any fleece. In my pack it will replace the fleece for three-season use. Winter in Norway demand a larger volume hooded down insulator. As a "strong" size L , i found the Trance XL to be the right size.

great jacket, one potential problem
The only qualm i have with this jacket is that it does not have adjustable openings, and this has let a draft in while wearing this jacket without a shell on cold windy days. Other than that it is very light, and warm.

Really Good Jacket
I have been waiting for this jacket for a very long time. Sadly it arrived in the middle of an early heat wave! But it was great for cool evenings and chilly mornings this past weekend on an woodland adventure. It also serves well as a pillow. Only one point on this jacket disappointed me. I like double/two-way zippers that allow you to zip open from the bottom when sitting. This jacket only has the standard one way zipper.
