Convenient and Agreeable
May 11, 2011

This hat is light, comfortable, and it keeps you dry. This is my second one, and I wouldn't have bought another one if this hat wasn't worth every penny. It's shaped pretty much like a regular baseball hat and looks good.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value

Large cap
December 10, 2010

I bought this hat as a gift to my son-in-law. He has a rather large head and it's almost impossible to find an XL or XLL hat other than an OS. I haven't given to him yet but it looks like it will do the trick and will be somewhat weather-resistant which he will like.

Great waterproof hat
October 04, 2010

This is a great waterproof, lightweight hat. Definitely for macro-domes, though. I've got a medium-sized head and I have the strap cinched nearly all the way in order for it to fit. But unless you've got a small head, this is a winner.

Pros: Build quality, Performance, Cons: runs large

Perfect hat for anybody with a huge head.

Excellent materials & beautifully constructed, but "one size fits all" evidently includes King Kong. This thing is huge, and flaps in the wind. Other than that, it is as close to perfect as you could expect it to be.

Reveling over the Revel
November 30, 2010

This one-size-fits-all cap performed up to my expectations in all regards. According to measurement specs, the circumference of my head lands in the low end of the 'large' range. Though this cap is designed to fit heads considerably larger than mine, it did not leave me with a look of too much cap for my head. My bean stayed plenty warm in strong, chilling, unrelenting winds, yet when the temps were warm and the uphill pack seemed to go on forever, not one bead of sweat ran into my eyes and the top of my head did not feel like it had been placed in an oven. Not one drop of hard, driving rain penetrated the shell, and when the rain let up, with one good shake the beads of water were gone and the fabric looked and felt dry. I haven't owned this cap long enough to know how well it will wear, but if it is as durable as the OR cap it replaces, I won't be having to buy another for a few years. The price is a little higher than I'd like it to be but is still comparable to that of other brands of similar design and utility.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Cons: Cost
