Great sack...
September 09, 2011
These are great stuff sacks. They have a very apparent coating on the inside of the sack that is waterproof, they are very light, in all cases thus far, lighter than the sacks that come with my gear, as well as being more water resistant. The regular Stuff Sack is very similar in weight from what I can tell to the Lightweight Stuff sack so it might be worth it for you to look carefully into both options before making a decision. Highly recommended.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueLight, Well-Made -- Does the Job at a Fair Price

Good quality, as expected. Very lightweight compared to other stuff sacks I've owned but appears sturdy enough for most applications. If you're really tough on your equipment but want to stick with the Outdoor Research brand, you may want to consider the OR Durable Stuff Sack.
Overall good sack.

Good sack. I have started to use them in my pack to keep things organized. In my old external frame pack I had more compartments but with my new internal frame pack I needed to find a better way to organize. This has become my clothing sack and works well. A little lightweight but that hasn't adversely effected anything. Works well for what I use it for.

I want to organize more systematically and without dead space in the luggage. I use often these stuff sack to pack small things etc. OR has various sizes, so even fishing stuff like waders and rain gear can be packed very easily and compactly. I remember one old sack had some deterioration with the inner coating after a few years use. I hope this doesn't happen again. Otherwise, considering the price, OR stuff sack are very useful and must have packs for systematic and organized itineratnt outdoor people.
