It's almost an understatement to admit that most of the hikers and backpackers on the staff own a few of these. The Outdoor Research Water Bottle Tote is an essential accessory for anybody who attaches water bottles or other Nalgene containers to their pack. While some climbers and backpackers will point out that they already own a pack hydration pouch, backcountry cuisine experts insist on thinking outside the freeze-dried food pouch and often pack tomatoes, garlic and other fresh provisions in protective wide-mouth Nalgene bottles. The Outdoor Research Water Bottle Tote has a patented Qik-Stik® attachment system that lets you loop the Water Bottle Tote onto the face of your pack without clipping into weighty accessory carabineers. Outdoor Research recently upgraded the fabric on the Outdoor Research Water Bottle Tote, replacing the packcloth fabric with a new water-resistant Cordura® nylon fabric that doesn't readily absorb water or wear thin against abrasive surfaces.

1 bought a liter nike water bottle in San Fran last month and went on the internet to find your water bottle tote. I fill my bottle with ice cube about 8 a.m. and they are still with me late into the afternoon. Great item. Highly recommended. comes with belt holder.

My friend Martine was going backpacking in the Sierras and
wanted to keep weight to a minimum. I gave her my 1 liter water bottle tote. When she came back she said she ended up using it to carry her jacket and was all praises. Useful

The tote is an effective tool for use in adding additional water or other liquids to the carry. It is well made, light, strong, and easy to use. The drawstring might be a bit longer to allow easier use with gloves on, but the product has served its intended purpose well.

I used this to cover and partially insulate a water bottle. The material is durable, the velcro fastener is heavy duty and very useful, and the drawstring works fine. Transforms a simple water bottle into a protected & portable hiking accessory.

These are very nice looking jackets for water bottles but a bit impractical for what a jacket should do. I would have hoped they were insulated even just a little but they are not. The water warms up way too quickly because of the black color and in humid weather the bottle sits in a puddle of water inside the jacket. I would not recommend them.
