Description

OR's best selling women's down jacket, and a favorite of the women of Outdoor Research, just got a new sister; the Women's Outdoor Research Aria Jacket™ takes all the goodness of the hoody and gives it a slight twist for simple layering without a hood to get caught up with other hooded layers. Insulating 650+ fill down is packed between a lightweight and uber-packable shell and lining fabric, for warmth that can be layered beneath your shell on the coldest ice climbing belays or while skiing in minus degrees. The poppy colors and slim cut also make it the ideal jacket for a rest day around town. The only dilemma now will be deciding between the wearing the hoody or the jacket.

Chic outdoors
May 11, 2011

Jacket is well made and complimentary to the figure. Especially like the pattern of the stitching and slight sheen to the fabric. Is warm, practical and stylish. Like the variety of pockets on the inside. Great for cell phone, glasses and other incidentials. Is definitely a keeper and it will go anywhere and everywhere stuffed into it's sack.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Ease of use, Great value

Sizing not working
January 15, 2012

The sizing on this jacket just didn't work for me. Shoulders and arms fit okay (I have big shoulders and long arms), but I also have an err.... womanly figure and it was pretty snug on the hips. I could tell it would ride up when I started moving, so sadly sent it back. Other than the fit problem, it seemed great. Very lightweight and I could tell it would have good wind resistance and warmth for winter riding and hanging around the barn.

Pros: Build quality
