Great rain jacket!
August 11, 2010
I ordered the chili color and it is a nice dark shade of red. I fall somewhere between a S and a M, ordered the M in this jacket and so I have plenty of room to spare and layer, although if I had to order again I would probably go down to a S. If you're between sizes and looking for a trimmer fit, go down a size. Zippers are nicely made and work well. Altrec delivered quickly. Thanks!

Very light, very packable. Breathes well and is stormproof. Hard to find a day that isn't a good day to wear it.
Very good.

I am 5' 3" and weight 120 lb, and I got size S in black. It fits well in size, and I think the women's fit looks better than other similar GoreTex products. I decided to get this one because it looks nicer on me. However, I think the details of this jackets could be improved. Comparing with other products in the same price range, the quality of details on this jacket, such as zippers, logos, etc., are not as good as they should be.
Pros: Great design, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, Cons: Poor qualityNovember 05, 2010
Fits perfectly, if you want a snug fit and you're between sizes, go down. Still have plenty of room to wear a sweater or fleece underneath. Really light, perfect for cycling or running. No fuss, feels clean and smart. I love it

Love this jacket. Fits perfectly and is very waterproof without getting super hot. Also nice that it includes the poncho feature, though I'm not sure how often I'll unzip to that.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueExcellent Jacket

I bought this jacket in blue and it is the most beautiful color of blue. I want to wear it all the time - even when I'm indoors. It fits perfectly too. I could not be happier with my purchase and I would highly recommend this jacket to any of my friends (and some have already asked where I got it).
Pros: Great design, Lasts forever, Ease of use, Great valueWomen's Aspire Jacket

Well constructed, waterproof, and comfortable. I chose this jacket because it can double as a poncho to protect a Digital SLR in wet weather. That's a really unique feature. I can't rate "durability" because that takes years of wear to adequately evaluate and I only recently purchased it. I wish the jacket was available in petite sizes...or that the sleeves were shorter. The velcro closings on the sleeves make the too-long sleeves less of a problem though. Love the jacket!

The ultimate lightweight waterproof jacket!

Bought this piece for my wife to bike and fish on those days that turn from sun to rain. Packs down small enough to easily stow away in a bike saddle bag or fishing vest pocket so you never think twice about taking it with you, and the Gore-Tex PacLite means you always stay dry. This is the ultimate lightweight waterproof jacket....just buy it!

Jacket fits well- not too slim or too bulky. The hem to pit zippers allow the jacket to be worn over my pack's hip belt and makes wearing it over a PFD much more comfortable. Altrec staff are wonderful There was a problem with getting the jacket on time for a trip. Shane followed up diligently with OR and FedEx to work it out. He also called twice to be sure it had arrived and that it met my needs. Rare service these days.
