This slim mid-layer replaces the weight and bulk of fleece. The synthetic insulation keeps you warm and moving in cold weather and compresses into your pack when your temp rises. The shell?s DWR finish keeps wind and drizzle at bay.

This is a very light weight and thin jacket that works great for layering. I use it for backpacking, cross country skiing and flyfishing. It provides warmth without bulk. Put on a gortex jacket and you are set to go. You can't beat the price either especially with free shipping.
