With three-in-one mountain protection, the updated Outdoor Research Varia Jacket for women features a waterproof outer shell and a fully integrated insulation layer that can be removed given the temperature or your sense of style. A zip-off hood allows you to enjoy a joyous break in the weather, while a removable powder skirt that can attach to the shell or liner seals the core from deep powder and spindrift.

This jacket looks good in person and the inside liner is nice. However, I returned it because of the short fit. I am 5'11'' and ordered the large, which fit everywhere except the length. It hit just at my waist, which isn't ideal when you're active outside in the snow. If your petite, this is a good jacket!
