The perfect backpacking pant is finally here. I've practically lived in these pants this winter. Loose fit in the legs with plenty of stretch and built in lace hooks are sweet, but they're cut a little longer anyway so they stay over your boots. Cool velcro belt system, too. Great job OR!

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value

Great Pants
March 14, 2013

Used it for ice climbing and rock climbing in cold weather. Very stretchy and comfy. I'm 5' 7'' waist 31 and I bought a Medium. Fits me pretty well #even around the waist because it's adjustable#. The size is great if i'm wearing boots but they're a bit long when I wore them with just rock shoes. They're pretty warm although haven't used them in below zero temps. The protection from crampon scratches on the inside lower pant is really nice. They do not slide up as you climb. Dirt brushes clean off of it. While rock climbing I used my knees to scramble up a bit and the pant still looked like new. Not appropriate for temps above 50F.

Cirque Pants
March 06, 2013

I've used these pants a few times now, both out on the trail and in a snowstorm. I'm 6'1, 190 and the XL fits perfect in the waist with a bit of tightening from the adjustable straps. They do fit a bit long so there is some excess length in the lower leg but it's not that big a deal. A good shell that can be worn with or without a base layer. Material looks to be very durable and I like the thicker material on the inside of the legs near where the boot would come on as that area of most pants tends to take abuse. Would recommend.

Pros: Build quality, Performance
