To stabilize the foot a Triple-density, recycled EVA footframe provides pronation control, while a forefoot shock absorption pad protects against stones and bruising. With a gender-specific trail running sole, the Men's Release Mid features a rubber heel strike pad with asymmetrical alignment that absorbs shock and reduces impact, and a tread specific Vibram® Release TC5+ rubber compound the offers excellent grip and traction.
