I am preparing for my March'13 ski trip to Japan and for the first time seeing snow. Yes, I am from Singapore, a land with Sun and Rain only and nothing else. I bought this set (2T) for my 16m gal during the offer. The quality and design is great. My wife and I love it. But it runs a little large. i am hoping that when March'13 comes, this set will suit her better as a base layer. Overall, worth it for now, until March'13, I will review again if it differs.

The perfect underwear for active kids
April 26, 2011
My 2 year-old kid loves to play outdoors, even on winter. This capilene set is perfect for cold days, very warm and dries very fast. Great design and easy getting in and out, even changing diapers. Perfect compliment for the Patagonia Baby Puff Rider Overalls.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great valuePerfect for my little guy

This is the second set of baby cap I've bought for my son and they honestly couldn't be better. Super warm, soft and well constructed, it's the ideal pajamas for super cold new england nights (we live in Maine afterall) and we've also totally layered this under his snow suit and even worn just the top with pants over on chilly days. Love it! Now, I just wish they made them for bigger kids.

Unbeatable Midweight Set!
August 15, 2011
I suppose this is an absolutely must-have for an active and running all-the-time toddler in winter time. It may not be needed for babies under 1,5 - 2 years, as they are not moving so much during the daily walks, but for my 2,4-years son it is one of the most useful things during the cold months
Pros: Lasts forever, Performance, Great valueAlready own the Patagonia Baby Capilene 3 Midweight Set? Tell us your thoughts.
Nice baselayer set
August 01, 2012
This is the second time I am buying this base layer set for my daughter. The material is soft and still holds its shape after several washes. I previously got size 12 mo. when my daughter was 12 mo. and she was able to wear it until she was about 16 mo. She wore just the base layer (at home) and stayed warm and cozy during our long cold and wet weather in London this past winter. We are now ready for the up coming winter in a few months with this new set.

The Capilene 3 long underwear for babies is a great buy. I bought our 21 month old twins a set of these. The boys tend to be about 6 mos behind in their clothes size but these are even bigger then the standard sizing. We put the Capilene on them for Halloween and they end up sleep in the Capilene that night. They are soft like PJ's.

Ready for winter layering

- Great colors! Fabric feels great! - My son is very average in size for his age (10 mo), it will surely last through all the cold months! - I love the two-sized snap. - They did not shrink in the dryer!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Cons: CostGreat setup!

I bought the 3-6 month size for my 3 month old daughter about 8 months ago and found out that the 3-6 was probably more for a 9 or 10 month old baby. She is now 11 months and it fits perfect so I bought the 12 month size knowing we will be able to use it next year with the way it fits. This set keeps her warm when we go on walks and I've been so impressed I bought another. Fits under all her layers and highly recommend it!

Runs a size large
November 10, 2010
I ordered size 2T for my son who wears 2T clothing at babyGap, Gymboree, etc. They are too big to go under clothes very easily. My son is on the slim side, and these are pretty big in the arms and legs and stomach on him. We have ordered size 18 month, so that his long underwear can go under his clothes easier.
Good base layer

this base layer work even for tiniest babies.. but it runs very big. 2 years old easy fits into 12m body and pants. i'll suggest to buy 2 size down for infants and 1 size down for toddlers.

This product is amazing if you have little ones and you love to be outdoors in cool weather. They are built to withstand almost anything! They run a bit big, but hasn't been a problem for us. I have a 2 year old daughter and and 1 year old son and they both have two pair of these!
