Patagonia Scramble 35:
When you're going light and fast -whether it's backpacking, day-peak scrambles or adventure racing -this tough, lightweight pack carries up to 35 pounds of vital gear. The top-loading main compartment is secured with an easy-access lid and single buckle. The lid itself has a small external pocket for convenient GPS, music, map or sunglass storage. Internal sleeve organizes contents or holds a hydration reservoir (sold separately). Two external sleeve pockets put bottles, food or gloves within easy reach, and the front panel zip pocket provides quick access to rain shell or shoes. Because comfort is paramount when you're moving at rapid pace, the Scramble is built with a rigid high-density polyethylene (HDPE) frame with aluminum stay for support and a molded foam back covered with stretch-woven fabric for padding and quick dry times. Soft-sided stretch-woven shoulder straps with sternum strap reduce shoulder pressure. A 1.5" webbing waistbelt secures the pack to your midsection. Made from 150-denier and 300-denier polyester (47% recycled) double-weave ShiftLayer fabric with polyurethane coating and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish.
