My boy, just like other kids, does not quite like wear a bulky jacket during the winter. However, this time, things seem to be different with this jacket. He just loves to wear it and keeps telling me how light the jacket is. I am happy with the purchase and definitely will recommend it!

My nephew is very active. He does not like to wear heavy coat or jacket even in mid January. So I get this down "sweater" as his jacket for the birthday when he play outside with his brothers. He loves it! It is not bother him he said. When I shipped it I also amazed how it wright and compact. I could save shipping fee. I will recommend this item especially for children.

This down jacket fits my 6 yr old son perfectly. It is a perfect weight for Georgia winters.. not to heavy. We got the hickory color which is a dark brown and he loves it.. can't go wrong with this lightweight down jacket.

My son likes having the same clothing as I have when we are climbing, hiking, camping or just traveling. This lets him look like me and be dressed appropriately for the weather be it the beach in Northern California or the crisp fall day at Red Rocks in Las Vegas. Functional, lightweight and durable make this the perfect jacket after that climb or for a walk on the beach. My son says its a keeper!

Bought this for my 4 year old for Christmas and he absolutely loves it!! It keeps him warm while playing out in the snow. Am thinking about purchasing the adult one because we love it so much. Extremely warm but very thin

Light and compact, but warm

We selected this down jacket for its warmth and weight as my son is taking a backpack trek out west this summer and minimizing weight is key. It will work as a great pillow if it is too warm to wear, but for higher altitudes he will wear it as top layer over hoody. Runs a bit small. He is 5'9" and 130 lbs so size chart said med. Could have gotten a large, but I will wear it when he outgrows it.

It's very warm & comfortable.

I bought it for my 4 years son. He likes it very much. My son has 4 jackets, but he wants to wearing this jacket anywhere & everytime. Liht weight, warm, colors good.

Sent these to Spain, for my grandkids, they are perfect!! They love the light weight and colors,perfect for any age. I have ordered many times and would and have ordered for this Christmas Season also!

I bought this coat in Red for my 12 year old son. The zipper is a bright blue. It looks like they have now changed the zipper to red to match the coat. That is a much better look for a boy. We kept the jacket because I have one that I wear almost every day. It is great for warm winter days and cool summer nights.

I purcahse the blue Patagonia down sweater for my son great value, warmth to weight ratio is fantastic, however a shell is suggested if temps fall below 34, degrees. Although the process for posting a return item credit to my account was very slow (nearly two weeks). I would recommend this jacket and company to a friend.

I have three boys and they all have this coat. I can never get them to wear anything warm to school but they happily throw on their patagonia coats without a fuss. They say they are comfortable, don't get in the way on the playground and look cool!
